For $170 a night it's a pretty junky place. I get that Zurich is expensive, but this place is pretty run down and dingy. Reasonably clean, but I wouldn't stay there again.

It is a very conveniently located hotel, just 1 min from the Limmatplatz tram stop and two stops from the Hauptbahnhof. The front staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and roomy. the price was very good.

I liked you could open the windows(not all hotels have that) I did not like to hear the bells from the church nearby in the middle of the night but that is not the hotels fault

This hotel room was small, but clean. We were only staying for one night before heading to the airport the next morning so it was perfect for us, but I'm not sure if it's spacious enough fit a longer stay. Overall though, we were very pleased with the location and general condition of the room.

Heatwave!

We went during the dreaded heat wave and they had no A/C. Not their fault it was so hot, but, be warned there is no A/C in rooms. They gave us a fan, but, still a VERY hot night.

Simple but clean hotel

Enjoyed the stay in the hotel. The service was good, the room was clean and was well equipped. I even could check in before noon. Will come back. its in decent distance to the railway station.

Firstly, I very much like the fact that the hotel is so near and easy to get to from the airport. Secondly, it has a variety of trams that pass by and thirdly it is very close to shops and amenities.

A super basic experience. Really depressing hallways and room. Couldn't make the rooms less appealing in terms of decor if they tried. Lights in the shower flickered the whole time. There is no aircon, just a floor fan. For the equivalent of £120, this place was over priced. The free breakfast was over the road in a kebab and chip shop. At least it was clean. But I would definitely not ever stay there again.

Reasonable hotel close to central train station, a supermarket and restaurants including McDonald's. The room can be very noisy if it is facing the main street, even at night. Make sure you check that there is no concerts or parties during your stay by going to this link http://www.x-tra.ch/de/. You can find other comments about the high noise level when events took place. There is no air conditioning in the room, so it can be quite hot in the summer. A fan is provided in the room. The room size is good and shower facility is okay. The hotel also provides a kettle with some free coffee and tea packs. One quirk of the hotel is they don't let you take your room key away: you have give it to the reception before you leave. Staff were extremely friendly.
