Welcome to Lodge De IJsvogel, a charming wooden lodge located in the peaceful countryside of Zevenhuizen, at the junction of Groningen, Friesland, and Drenthe. Our lodge offers a beautiful view of a private lake on our property, surrounded by lush greenery and an abundance of bird species, including the kingfisher.​

Locatie is uniek, door grote tuin met natuurlijke vijver. Ideaal als uitvalsbasis voor fietstochten in de omgeving. Ook voor eigenaren met honden is het een perfecte locatie. In de omgeving zijn diverse wandelmogelijkheden. Accomodatie is ruim voor 2 personen. Perfect wanneer je van rust en stilte houdt.

Wauw wat een prachtige accommodatie. Rust, natuur en de afbeeldingen kloppen allemaal. Zelfs mooier. Alles in de lodge aanwezig, verwelkomt met een prachtige bos veldbloemen uit eigen tuin op de tafel, sleutelkastje met daarvoor goede instructie, goed interieur, fijne bedden en alles netjes schoon. We hebben drie topdagen gehad. Komen graag terug!

Sehr gemütliche Holzhütte. Alles vorhanden was man braucht, ohne viel Schnickschnack. Sehr schön zum entspannen, runter kommen, beisammen sein. Für unseren Aufenthalt war das Wetter schon ein kleines bisschen zu kalt, aber mit dem Kamin konnten wir jedem Tag Abhilfe schaffen.
