Guest reviews for Sheraton Zagreb Hotel

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
I was hesitant to stay at a large chain hotel while traveling in Europe. I often find the smaller hotels are more personal and full of character. However, I must say that I was very surprised at how welcoming and friendly the staff was at this location. The porter was always helpful with securing cabs, answering our questions, making sure we had an English speaking cab driver, etc. The waiters and waitresses were very kind and helpful to us - especially since my husband had injured his leg while on the trip and was using crutches! It was great to have access to a group of computers in the main lobby. The breakfast price was high, but the food was excellent. Since it was hard to find restaurants in Zagreb that had a standard American breakfast (i.e., eggs, toast, bacon, juice, etc), it was great to have a big feast before we started our day. The rooms were clean and room service was very prompt when I ordered a sandwich after 11PM one evening. I will stay here again if I return to Zagreb. The light rail system has a stop directly behind the hotel, which gives easy access to the entire city. However, it's a simple 10 minute walk to the city center.

I love this hotel!

This was my fourth stay at the hotel. The staff is always friendly and helpful. And the location is great. Just a short walk to the incredible Jelecic square and there is a great little Italian restaurant down the street. (turn right out of the hotel and walk down the street.). I highly recommend it. It's also a good segue between coming from America and going to Croatia since there is a big cultural difference. The only thing I did not like was I felt the breakfast was way to expensive. I just walked down the street and ate somewhere else.
