Review of Art Hotel
This was one of the most uncomfortable hotel stays I’ve had. The hotel is located right in the middle of a busy tram intersection, and the constant noise is unbearable. Every 10 minutes or so, a tram passes by, shaking and rattling the entire building — including the rooms. Sleeping was nearly impossible, especially with the uncomfortable bed.
Getting into the hotel is also a hassle. You walk through a dark alley, climb 20–30 narrow steps just to reach the lobby, then another steep set of stairs to get to the room. My room was a cramped attic space with a ceiling so low that you can only stand in the center without hitting your head. The air was damp, and the air conditioner made a loud rattling noise whenever it was on.
The only positives: the staff were friendly, the location is close to the city center, and breakfast was decent. Unfortunately, none of that makes up for the constant noise, shaking, and overall discomfort. I would not recommend this hotel if you want a restful stay.
