The pool was open-year round. Staff was accommodating but not overly outgoing and friendly. The breakfast was ok. Same all the time😟. Was somewhat ticked when I asked if they could give me info for another Best Western in another state and the staff person told me all were independent and she couldn’t help me. I thought they all were connected.

Staff was great, however, the rooms were overpriced and need A LOT of work. I've traveled all over the world, and never have I stayed in a hotel where the carpet was bunched up and not flush to the floor all over the room! Not only is this unsightly, it's a terrible trip hazard! The AC unit was very loud and hardly worked, the small refrigerator wasn't secured and almost came out of the cubby it was sitting in, the carpets outside were very worn and stained. Can't say I'll be staying again.

When we checked in on Thursday March 13 around four pm the person at the desk was unfriendly and on the verge of being rude. Young woman shorter with dark hair and glasses Certainly didn’t make you feel welcome. The hotel is nice and I would still stay there again.

There was some undesirables hanging around the property. Seemingly they may have been friends with the front desk clerk or in the least she was letting them hang out. When I pulled in the parking lot, there was a lady passed out/slumped over in a minivan in the driver's seat with a dog in the back with a broken window. When I went into the lobby of the hotel, I saw two men that looked like tweakers sitiing in the lobby and later, the woman who was passed out in the minivan was with them.They were all sitting in the lobby and the lady still looked to be really intoxicated and out of it. The front desk clerk was rude and awkward towards us. Later in the evening, when we returned from visiting our family. She had another man hanging out at the front desk. drinking beer. He was there for several hours. But besides the front desk clerk, having some undesirables hanging around the rest of my stay was wonderful. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great, so was the spa and pool.

Horrible Sleep-less Road Noise

The room allowed the sound of the highway-about 100 years away to come in to the room creating an almost otherworldly ,echo-chamber effect-you felt it would be quieter-outside. I have earbuds and slept with the four pillows around, over and behind my head to try to keep it out-lack of oxygen-worth it! There are rooms on both sides of the hotel and when I did ask about moving to the non-highway side was informed that they were sold out. Never again, and I’m done with Hotels.com as this wouldn’t have happened if I hadn’t used them. When I book myself the first question I ask is if there is a quiet room available-the hotels are generally honest about this but there’s no way to do that on the site. On the site the suite that I booked was rate 10-exceptional. Perhaps the other side of the hallway is a 10 (dubious) but I would’nt give it more than a 1or 2 and that’s only because it was pretty clean. The window are tinny-it wouldn’t cost them much to add double panes glass or soundproof but when you’re making $189 a night regardless it shows a true lack of concern. Never Hotels.com again-or the Best Western Plus (?) Yuma.
