We absolutely loved our stay at The Estate Yountville. The service and attention to detail with making sure we never had to worry about anything was amazing. Everything about the hotel was relaxed and stunning. It made us feel like we never wanted to leave all day. Bonus that it was with in walking distance to all of our favorite restaurants. The hotel itself is stylish and the staff were genuinely friendly, but the setting was a big letdown. Despite the name, The Estate Yountville is located right next to a busy road, so there’s constant traffic noise whether you’re at the pool, the vineyard area, or just sitting outside. It’s definitely not the quiet, rural escape we were hoping for. The name “Estate” feels a bit deceptive — it suggests a secluded property surrounded by vineyards, but the reality is much more urban and noisy. We also found the town of Yountville itself to be a bit underwhelming — small, pricey, and not nearly as charming as we’d imagined. The hotel is nice on the surface, but for us, the setting and nonstop noise really killed the experience.
