Very nice home. Exactly as described. Just know that it is 30 minutes up and down the pass to do anything. Beautiful beathtaking scenery, but a little scary too. It gets dark at 5pm in late November too. You need dinner reservations to eat anywhere, but food was top notch. We had 7pm reservations each day. I recomend 5 or 6pm this time of year.

Accommodations were lovely but no paper towers or tissues. Major issue was that NPS fire crews were doing a controlled burn in our valley all around our cabin the entire time we were there with intense smoke which made it impossible to stay outside and difficult to breathe with open flames burning within 75 feet all around the cabin. No warning from property owner and no opportunity to cancel or reschedule.

The property was clean and comfortable and location was nice and central to reach various areas of Yosemite. Kitchen was well stocked as described which was great since we ate all of our evening meals at the house. Pillows on the beds were very uncomfortable and the description of the wifi we felt was misleading. Not only could you not download or stream but we could barely send an email. Having the land line for communication was good but needing to send some work emails, we actually had to do that from the park where we had better service.

Please withdraw earlier comment about laundry detergent- we found it 😎 Loved the location, very quiet and relaxing. Cabin had the perfect layout, very cozy. Upstairs shower had a drainage issue, not a fan of standing in water trying to dry off.

Owl Moon and Foresta are such gems. Located within the park, you can spend the day in the valley, and have a fully equipped cabin to return to at the end of the day. Comfortable beds, two full bathrooms, a well stocked kitchen, and AC - what more could you ask for?! WiFi is just enough to check email, but not enough for working or streaming Netflix (too bad ). The power did go out while we were there, which the owner says is not unexpected. The cabin has flashlights in every room and water in the bathrooms to flush toilets. And we grilled that night since there was plenty of light outside. Felt like the cabin is well prepared for short power outages.

Check in was easy with good directions. Cabin was very clean. Only negative was lighting was not adequate. Needs brighter canned lighting downstairs. TV was inoperable. Otherwise it was a wonderful adventure. Great way to see Yosemite.

The Owl Moon Cabin is perfect! My friends and I enjoyed it, would stay here again and definitely recommend it to friends. The cabin's location is great - inside the park, about 1.2 hour from Yosemite Valley, feels remote but there are neighbors close by but not visible.There are two big decks and was so nice sitting outside. The inside is wonderful - 2 big bedrooms with comfortable beds, nice carpeting in most of the cabin, the bathrooms were big, the kitchen fully stocked, and the wood in the cabin was beautiful. The place was very clean and felt like home. The owner was very responsive and accommodating, allowing us to stay on the deck after checkout as we needed a tow truck for our car. You will love staying in this place!

Trip with family

My sister, daughter and I enjoyed being able to stay within the park. The accomodations were exactly as described. Our beds were comfy! One thing a traveler should know about is the occasional power outage. We had one that lasted over 6 hours one afternoon into the evening. If my sister had come that uses a CPAP, this would have been a problem. Something to consider, there is no generator on site.

Owl Moon Cabin

We spent 4 nights, my wife and I and two close friends who were visiting us from Louisiana, driving to Yosemite Valley, and hiking there and in the Giant Sequoia Grove and climbing Vernal Falls. The cabin was very nice and well appointed for our needs. The space allowed for privacy and also conversation and eating areas, and the Foresta area was very quiet and beautiful and allowed for local hiking to Foresta Falls without having to drive at all. We had a very nice stay.

Great Yosemite Cabin

Our family of four had a great stay! The cabin is well furnished and is a wonderful location to spend a lot of quality time in Yosemite valley. We enjoyed spending our mornings and afternoons at the park and dinner and evenings around the kitchen table playing cards. We would definitely recommend!

Private cabin inside Yosemite

Great location! So nice to start your day in the park without dealing with the traffic to enter. Very peaceful and secluded setting for the cabin. Bedrooms were big and nice. Only drawback was no TV service, but that was not priority.

Lovely Cabin

Our family of 4 enjoyed our time at Owl Moon Cabin. It was the perfect location for us: close to the valley for picking up any supplies and as close to Tioga Road as possible while still being in the park. The cabin was extremely clean and a lot of thought was put into making it practical. We experienced a brief power outage due to a wildfire outside the park and the cabin was outfitted with everything needed: extra water for toilets, flashlights, etc. Lucy was responsive with questions and we appreciated that she checked in when she received a notification from PG&E regarding the power outage. Our cellphone provider had no coverage (AT&T), and the internet was sufficient for browsing, emails and most of our internet needs. We loved that the cabin was comfortable and in quiet neighborhood. Thank you for sharing your cabin with our family, we hope to visit in the future!
