Overlook Cottage is a quaint 2-bedroom cottage situated in an incredible location- just a 2-minute walk from downtown Short Sands and the beach! The cottage offers 2 bedrooms (one Queen bedroom and one bunk bedroom), a full bathroom, kitchen and living room, along with a vaulted and enclosed 3-season sun porch for additional gathering space. A large deck provides excellent outdoor space for entertaining as well. This is a perfect space to enjoy all that beautiful York Beach has to offer.

Great beach get away
Not the best weather during our stay but we still found plenty to do! - one gray beach day, Funorama excursion, Goldenrods for lunch, ice cream and taffy! A walk around town - sorry to find the park and zoo closed. I am a writer and used this as a writing retreat. Got some good work done! One downside - a lobster roll is 38!

Great location, clean house
The house is just as pictured, clean, well stocked with everything you may need, including nice beach chairs.
The central a/c was awesome for the hot days.
We enjoyed our stay very much.

Summer 2024
Overlook 1 property was perfect for our family of four. The location was wonderful, just a short walk to short sands village which was perfect for the pre teens. My personal favorite spot was the porch with the small view of the ocean and breeze.
The only down fall was the cleanliness. There was food and sand on the bunk beds and food stuck to the bedspreads. There was also so much dust dirt under the beds.
