Overall, the hotel was awesome value for your money. The staff were very friendly and kind and they took our bags for us after we checked out and held it safe until our flight came. The sleeping arrangement was clean and tidy; the bathroom was not terrible. There were weird stains on the bathtub's floor, and the AC came on frequently during the night, which woke me up a few times. The bathroom fan was very powerful, despite it being quite dusty. The towels were clean. We did not use the microwave facilities. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, and the lady even let us stay for a few minutes after closing to let us finish our food. Served was a selection of basic bakery items, fresh fruits, eggs and sausages, which were both delicious, and waffles. Highly reccomend the breakfast buffet and friendly staff.

Disappointed stay

Staff were friendly and helpful but the noisy plumbing was scary. Also noisy people above and around my room at all hours. Intoxicated locals hanging around outside at all hours. On the plus side hotel is within walking distance to restaurants and stores.

The area around the property is nearby a Wallmart and Tim Hortons that is convenient. However, the area has a lot of homelessness with lounging around asking for money and cigarettes. It was uncomfortable leaving the front lobby to the parking lot. There is night security but perhaps during the day and present outside the lobby area. The inside was renovated from when I stayed here last year that is brighter and more inviting. The room service is at request which I didn't mind. My coworker checked in and the room wasn't cleaned up after the previous occupant. Staff was apologetic and changed rooms right away for him. Staff are friendly and helpful but can only do so much.

Five stars for the staff. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The building needs lots of repairs. The rooms are damp and smells like mildew. The counters, table top and bedside table were sticky. The carpet is filthy and sticky. We were advised on check in that room cleaning is every other day and that did not occur. Garbage and laundry from most of the rooms would build up in the halls. The breakfast options are limited and what is available is of poor quality. The hot food is cold and often still frozen in the centre. There was never any spoons available and cups were in limited supply often running out and forcing people to be drinking out if the waffle measuring cups. For a city that is heavily dependent on tourism this not what is expected given the price.
