The cabin was wonderfully secluded, making it the perfect peaceful getaway. The fire was a great touch and added to the cozy atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept great. The hosts were fantastic friendly, helpful, and full of great tips on places to explore nearby. We had an amazing stay and would definitely come back!

A hidden gem in the wilderness!

My wife and I spent two amazing days in this property. All amenities including the WiFi were working perfectly. The hosts were extremely kind and even went to the extent of setting up a bonfire on the day of our arrival. Cannot wait to be back!

Exactly what we needed. Off grid, but so easy to manage. Hosts were exceptional. Bringing fire wood, advice for the area. Lots of nature and peace. Definitely would stay again and recommend for a real get Away.

This cabin is amazing! It’s completely secluded, making it perfect for unplugging. It has everything you need for off the grid living. The owner and property managers were awesome! They were so helpful and so nice. 10/10 all the way around. I’ve already booked my next stay!

Peaceful forest getaway

Very secluded, didn't see another person or car in the area all weekend after going to Hochatown for pizza and groceries Friday night. Beautiful property, quiet, cabin was clean and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay - except dry kindling for the wood stove which we were able to find in a nearby structure. Girlfriend was made slightly uncomfortable by the man sitting by the campfire after following the property manager up the winding mountain roads, but it turned out to be his brother who was just keeping the fire going for us, and I got a good vibe from them and felt very welcomed, so YMMV - just be aware that they are not kidding when they say "off-grid" and the check-in process may be a little different than your typical rental! All in all a great time and highly recommended if you need a place to get away from busy city life and recharge.

Off the grid

I would suggest traveling in a truck or a AWD SUV the roads are rough. Love traveling in our truck and being so close to the national park. Very peaceful and resting.

Excellent secluded cabin for a weekend getaway

Truly off grid, you’re in the middle of hunting leases in the middle of beautiful pine forests. It was incredibly quiet, had a wonderful wood stove to keep us toasty, and the perfect fire pit to sit around. Having no shower was kind of a pain in the butt but the tub worked just fine. Kitchen was well stocked and the grill worked perfectly. We had zero complaints!

Beautiful little cabin

My wife and I spent 5 nights at the cabin just enjoying the peace and quiet. A couple water hiccups initially and, as the problem was worked thru, we met a lot of the owners family. Great people and down to earth. Ended up visiting with them for most of one afternoon. They went out of their way to make sure we had a nice, comfortable stay. A ways off the paved road so plan accordingly. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone who wants a break from the city noise and rat race. Thank you so much.

LIKE FAMILY

If you are looking to get away from all the hectic frustrations of everyday life and you enjoy just being surrounded by nature there is no better place to stay than here. It is truly a cabin secluded tucked away with miles and miles of woods. The owner and family are just like meeting up with family members you haven't seen in a while. They are so down to earth and willing to help make your stay worth the time. Thank you for such a wonderful weekend to take in God's beauty.

Off the Grid Oasis

Perfect location for solitude and exploration! Our daughter could explore without worry from other campers or traffic and the views on the road after the gate were amazing (we watched the sunset from the road one evening and highly recommend it!). We wouldn't recommend trying to make your way to the property in a small car, but a truck or SUV will do it with ease (we were in a Jeep Wrangler and had no issues). Beautiful little slice of wilderness that was close enough to Broken Bow or Hochatown to enjoy both without issue. Hope to be back someday!

The property is tucked away in the middle of forest, perfect place to get away and reconnect with mother nature and forget about how busy your life is at home.

The Real Deal!

Wonderful, the Real Deal! We have stayed in several cabins in the Hochatown/Broken Bow area. But, they have all had neighbors and some traffic. The Mossback Outfitters, has no neighbors and no traffic. It was an in an isolated area, it was like to taking an adventurous hike in the woods but, in your vehicle. LOL While having the creature comforts of other cabins, this cabin is self-reliant. Water tank for storage, generator for electricity and appliances and heat provided by propane. Plenty of firewood for the camp fire, which we kept going during our entire stay and for the free standing wood stove in kitchen/living area. If you are scared of the dark and quietness, don’t go to this cabin. LOL If you are looking for solitude and you are adventurous at body, mind and soul, this is ticket.
