Shockingly loud on-premise nightclub… no sleep.

Buried on page was info about 2am close nightclub attached… and it was LOUD. I did not see that info, it needs to be made more plain to see. I was not using parking so felt no need to go to the “about” tab. I know this was my fault, didn’t try to get a refund… I didn’t even stay there… I booked another hotel, and left by 11:15pm having not even used the bed.

Pre warned about noise . Stayed sat night . Music till 2 in the morning . Earplugs muffle the noise . Dont expect to sleep . Security charge 200 dollars .if you need a hairdryer arrange before 2 pm . Otherwise 10/10

Earplugs essential

The room was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend earplugs, as stated the hotel is above a busy bar and nightclub which is open until 2am. And you will hear it! The hotel ‘reception’ (if you can call it that) is in the bar itself, so when arriving in the evening with your suitcase bear in mind you have to trundle everything through it. I waited around 20minutes to get checked in as they were favouring the bar over the reception (a tiny spot at the end of the bar) so the more people who wanted drinks, the longer I waited.

Convenient location. Room itself clean and bed comfortable. Good water pressure in shower. We stayed on a Saturday night and could hear the noise from below nightclub, but there is forewarning re this.

very clean and tidy, lovely staff. was unable to get through to them for a late check in, phone kept ringing out - the website said reception was staffed at the time I called. Parking was a little tricky to get to for someone who had never been there before. however, all the staff were very helpful

We travelled to Wollongong for a 50th birthday party so only used the room to sleep . For the money it was reasonable , the bed was very comfortable , room very clean and bathroom fine . Private car park behind which was convenient and we likes the separate entrance to the rooms rather than having to go through the pub .

First Impressions are everything

I arrived 15 minutes before check in. I was told if I wanted to check in now, it would cost extra. So I waited the 15 minutes. Reception seems to be only open from 10am.So no luggage minding facilities (I assume), so luckily I had to change my plans last minute and not try to find out. Noise from downstairs didn't really bother me. Rooms are serviced and even the biccies are restocked! Some city hotels don't service rooms now unless you pay extra and forget about the biccies! I doubt I'd stay here again due to reception not being open first thing.
