Peaceful Place

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It's quiet and peaceful and a great place to relax after a day filled with water parks and other Dells attractions.

Dells river house

Beautifull location and house. The owner is the neighbor and you won’t meet a nicer guy. Will definitely be back. Our family had a great time

The river house was a perfect weekend getaway. Quiet, beautifully decorated, river right out back. Easy access to restaurants and grocery store in town.

Great family spot!

House was great- more spacious than the photos and very clean. Short drive to the Dells, cute winery right down the street, and lots of fishing spots nearby. River isn’t really swimmable & private beach is tiny, but great for fishing off the dock. Highly recommend!

Great location right on the river

The house was very clean and well stocked with all the essentials when we arrived. The location right on the river was beautiful. The free firewood and kayaks were nice to have. Thanks much for having us!

Amazing place

Just outside of the Dells this place is a little gem. Secluded, with plenty of space outside and all the amenities needed in or out. Best part is the river and a private dock, which made fishing even better. Thank you for having us!

Quiet time

My family and I stayed at this location for 5 nights. It was perfect. Quiet but still very close to the dells. Will definitely be looking forward to coming back here.

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

My college friend group and I LOVED this property! It was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. The place was big enough for our whole group and was super modern and nice inside the cabin. We loved that we could go swimming in the river and utilized the kayaks and canoe too! We will definitely be coming back here for our next get together! Highly recommend.

Beautiful home away from home

Our family had an amazing time at the River House Retreat. The property has plenty of open space and beautiful views of the river and the stars at night. The house was clean and comfortable and felt like home. Everything we needed was there and the owners were very friendly and responsive to our questions. It was a great getaway and we plan to return again!

Wisconsin River Gem

Perfect setting for our Girlfriend Getaway. Nicely located property close to dining, shopping and our spa day destination (Sundara-also exceptional). Beautifully nestled on the Wisconsin River, we appreciated the attention to detail as very amenity was provided including a welcome bottle of wine…lovely touch! A toast to our host.

Perfect home away from home.

We enjoyed every moment of our time at the River House Retreat. The home is beautifully decorated and has everything you need to relax and unwind. The views of the river, especially at sunset are breathtaking. The location is very convenient to downtown Wisconsin Dells shopping, waterparks and other family friendly attractions. Our thanks to David for his wonderful hospitality - we highly recommend this property for your next trip to the area.

Awesome place!!! We had a group of 10 guys and they had everything that you will need to have a great time. David communication was spot on and the best part about the trip was that he gave us a ride on his pontoon! We will be coming back in the future.

Wonderful property, responsive host

The property was beautiful - on the bank of the Wisconsin River, stunning view, firepit, barbecue, fishing dock, kayaks, canoes, and a sand box for the kiddos. The host, David German was extremely responsive to all requests and the house was spotless. Plenty of room for 5 adults and two children in a very secluded, pristine location. Short drive to the Dells, Noah's Arc and Mr. Pancake, some of our favorite places.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable.

Hands down the cleanest VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. It’s about 10-15 min from downtown wis dells and situated on the river way back from anything else which was perfect for our group. The house is decorated beautifully and the view from the back porch over the river is unbeatable. We heard all kinds of bird calls and even saw an Osprey flying in the area. There was a lot of attention to detail in the house to make the stay really comfortable including really comfortable mattresses and bedding. Would definitely book again if we head back to that area.

Bachelorette Weekend

The pictures online does not do the place justice. It is absolutely gorgeous there. The place was clean and very organized. Even though the weekend was windy and a bit cold we still had a blast. They had kayaks, a canoe, plenty of chairs, bonfire, fishing gear, life jackets, games and if you didn’t want to stick around the house there was a fun winery a mile down the road with live music! Overall 10/10. I would highly recommend staying there again.

Amazing Home!

This was one of the best rental houses I've ever stayed in! Having the Wisconsin River in your literal backyard was so convenient and relaxing. Fishing right on property was great.The small beach was perfect for kids. The house itself was so comfortable. It was very clean and modern. Much bigger than the pictures show.The house has everything you need from utensils, blankets, towels, life jackets, fishing poles and even an air fryer. The host was very nice and responded quickly to questions. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend

Peaceful Riverside Retreat stay

Don’t hesitate to book! This property is perfect! *Home is clean and beautifully decorated. The space is just the prefect size with everything you need. *Location is just far enough for the parents but not too far for the kids. So everyone is happy! *Owners are so awesome! They were very welcoming and helpful. I honestly felt like I new them because they treat you so well! He helped the kids fish and had so much patience! His family sat and talked with us, while enjoying the scenery. Thank you so much for sharing your home!! I highly recommend this property and will probably come again!

Vacation

My family and I stayed in this home. We picked to be near Wisconsin Dells for the waterparks. This place was great! It was far enough away to get some privacy yet close enough to where the main places were 20 minutes or less away. Our kids are 11, 8, and 10 months. They loved the home! We let the owners know we were traveling with a baby and they made sure to have to pack n play ready when we got there. They were very accommodating and answered all of our questions quickly. The home was well stocked with basic necessities. It was nice to not have to worry about running out of toilet paper! We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for everything !

Great house!

The Riverhouse had great views, was beautifully renovated and in a great private location close to many attractions. The owners were very responsive and gave us a great bottle of wine for our stay!
