One of the city’s major architectural landmarks, Cathédrale de Saint-Boniface, attracts thousands of visitors each year. The current cathedral is the sixth church to be built on this site since 1818. Journey back in time to the fur-trade era with a visit to Fort Gibraltar. The fort is a reproduction of the original fur trade post built by the North-West Company around 1810. In summer, costumed interpreters guide visitors through this historical site, while in February it is part of the 10-day festivities of Festival du Voyageur, Western Canada’s largest winter festival.

Was attending the Winnipeg Folk Festival for the first time and just really needed a clean, comfortable, safe place to stay overnight and for a few days afterwards. Place was spotless, communication great, beds super comfortable. It's a long narrow 2-story unit so would be cozy for more than a few people to spend much time there. Had a car so can't really comment on walkability, but we had no trouble finding the Marion, Pauline and Stella's for really great brunches. Are all the restaurants there named after women? lol If you drink, Oui Sell Beer by the Marion is open until 2:30 am.

This property was really well located for all our needs ( groceries, family, ice cream, restaurants and the Forks). Very quiet and super comfortable . It had everything we needed and would highly recommend it.
