Pictures Did Not Resemble Unit
Not overly impressed with this stay or unit. Was relegated to a different, smaller unit, that was dirty and damaged and not even part of their VRBO properties.
Microwave looked like it was melted in a fire and kept going off at random hours of the night (e.g., 2am), couch was stained and gross, floor rug was also stained, floors were dirty, holes and damage in walls, unit smelled like cigarette smoke.
While the owner offset the move to a different unit with complimentary parking for my week stay, the price I was told for the pass was more expensive than what was advertised in the actual parkade. The owner also came across as very non-communicative and did not make me feel comfortable reaching out. Moreover, I was told I would have to move units over and over if I didn’t take this smaller unit.
Based on the issues related to being moved to a new unit (that was misrepresented), the lack of cleanliness, and the location, I do not think the price they were charging (including a high cleaning fee) is unacceptable. I would not recommend nor would I rent from this owner again.
