Russell (CMR) National Wildlife Refuge on three sides. Step off the porch and you are on prime public land, world-renowned for trophy elk and mule deer.

True to the Breaks, this property is for those who come prepared. Access requires high-clearance 4x4 vehicles, especially when the legendary "gumbo" mud takes over. If you want proximity to the Missouri River and the Fort Peck area without the crowds, this is your spot.

Designed as a functional hunter’s retreat, the log cabin offers a warm, dry place to recharge between morning glassing and evening stalks.
