The Víkend House is a charming 2BR bungalow in Wilson, Kansas. Recently renovated, it is a welcoming and homey basecamp for all your central Kansas adventures.

We're 5 minutes south of I-70 and only 8 minutes from Lake Wilson including the Switchgrass mountain bike trail, fantastic hiking, and excellent fishing. We're only 20 minutes from Lucas, Kansas, the folk art capital of the Midwest, and Samual Dinsmoor's Garden of Eden.

Wilson is the Czech Capital of Kansas, home of the world's largest Czech egg, and hosts the After Harvest Czech Festival each July. Here you can enjoy an old fashioned soda and pizza at Grandma's Soda Shop and Diner, or a burger and salad at the Midland Hotel Sample Room. If you have a hankering for breakfast or pie (breakfast and pie?) you can find both at the Made From Scratch cafe.

House is amazing, Andy is an amazing host!
My son and I drove out to Wilson to ride our mountain bikes, we stayed at the Vikend House. It was beautiful, clean, well stocked with everything you need for a weekend. Very cozy. Just off the main downtown shops, just a few minutes away from the lake as well. Highly recommended!!

We were heading to the lake and brought our boat. We had plenty of room to park it. The house was exactly as listed, very clean and comfortable. We cooked several meals and found everything we needed in the kitchen. We plan to stay again in the future.

Great place to stay!
We really enjoyed our stay at this home. The house was clean and had a lot of great extras like a cappuccino machine and a phone charging hub. It was a great place to come and relax after a day at Wilson Lake! We hope to return again!
