No hotel seems to take any notice of reviews so I don't bother doing them, I have been staying at this hotel for over 5 years and my feeling is that it has deteriorated over this time. The reception staff see you as an inconvenience, the bar staff are more interested in chatting with the locals.

Hotel staff were good. Hotel itself slightly shabby. Lift couldn’t stop on floor 2 going up but would on going down. Wood in corridors and rooms scratched. Breakfast hot food server was broken. Temporary rig set up in dining room. It was ok and convenient for the price.

Flawless hotel, clean and spacious room, warm, dark and very quiet eventhough we stayed on New Year's eve. The bar area was excellent too and breakfast outstanding. As for the staff, every single person we came across that night was delightful, really friendly and we had a lovely time. Highly recommend.

Great hotel, walking distance from our daughter’s house, didn’t use the restaurant or bar but both looked nice and tidy. Any interactions with the staff were positive. You have to pay to park but for the 3 days we were there it cost £7.40 Will definitely stay again

The room was clean and comfortable, although the extractor in the bathroom was on constantly and quite noisy. The reception and breakfast team were very friendly. Tea and biscuits were replenished in my room daily whcih was nice. I did not eat there in the evening, choosing to walk for 8 minutes and go to a Greek restaurant on the high street that was very good.

When we arrived our booking was seemless until we discovered there was an additional charge of £100 per day for parking. We would like to make a formal complaint about the imposition of this parking charge. As we walked into the building I gave some feedback to your staff about the state of your accessibility rooms. Your colleague thought my feedback was hilarious. Accessibility issues : 1. Disability Markings in car park almost worn out. 2. Path from car park to hotel at too high an angle. 3. At end of path there are two steps neither of which is illuminated or marked in any way. 4. The path from the car park to the hotel is not marked in any way. 5. The thresholds into the hotel are all too high, wide or marked in any way. I would to make a formal complaint about your hotel's compliance with Disability Support Legislation.
