I like the modernization. No carpet & security. The only thing I don't like is how limited housekeeping is. The halls & room floors contain stains and debris.

We arrived early and could not check in. I understand that. When we arrived to check in later the manger was complaining to another employee about Travelocity booking one night stays in front of me. Rude...The trash cans outside of the entry door to the building was over flowing onto the ground. When we got to our room, I wiped up some water from my dogs and the floor was filthy. We had bar soap in the bathroom and when I asked for complimentary shampoo, they didn't have any and shrugged me off. The service was awful, staff was rude and property was trashy. There were several people hanging out in the parking lot drinking beer all day and night. Made it uncomfortable to go outside to walk our dogs. And the air condition was terrible in our room, dogs even panted while inside. Very disappointed in this property.

The property was nice and so was the location. But they don't clean rooms daily only every other week. You have to rent dishes and pots. Only give you 2 towels and face clothes your entire stay.

You are right that our amenity offerings are unique and are not like those offered at traditional hotels --- we allow guests to choose and pay for only the amenities they want to use, like more frequent housekeeping or adding cookware to our in-room kitchens. At first arrival it seems as if they had their stuff together until we arrived to the rooms to find them dirty After reporting and letting the manager(vanessa) and front desk clerk (crystal) they prompted that they will be cleaning asap.. So after stepping out for awile and try to enjoy the beach. Returned 3/4hrs later for the room still not cleaned... Called back down to front desk (Dwain)to let them know that the room still isnt cleaned... Its around 6/7o'clock now.after an back an forth conversation at which he said he would let housekeeping know the next morning at which at this time im hoping to be gone or offered another room or discount on another(SMH) so the next morning at checkout i informed the manager Vanessa of her promise to get my room cleaned and she tells me that shes upset of the way that dwain was talked to and that she was standing there listening to the conversation... If so as an manager why didnt she intervene esspecially if she knew the sitiuation and or knew who i was.... Maybe because they where partying in one of the rooms on the first floor.. And maybe she was to much under the influence to talk to me (I Guess)... So after speaking with her the next morning she implies that shes gonna talk to her General Manager to fix the situation so i left... After an hour of being on the road i get an call from the hotel stating theres nothing they could do because some of the stuff was paint dropping WTH along with the hair,dirt. And ashes on floor an bathroom
