Houseboat was very clean and appointed nicely, had everything we needed. We did not stay in the boat much as we were down for event that created a hectic schedule. Overall, really enjoy the house boat concept. Some things to watch for.1. Construction on the Riverwalk limits access to some of the ramps (not The Cove's fault, they are dealing with it). Also some dredging in the marina is occurring during the day so can be loud.2. Gate for dock ramp can be tricky sometimes which will prohibit entry using the code. Fortunately a day docker came and let us in the dock ramp gate.3. Got locked out of our Houseboat (think was the result of getting and paying for late check out). Called contact number on placard for Houseboat and left 3 voice mail messages - no call back - was a local (910) area code number. Remembered a difference number text me about our check in time so text them back and they setup a new access code for us to access houseboat in about 15 mins. Good thing we got them cause at 10 PM that number shuts down. We got lucky I think, so you may want to consider and make sure you have a back up plan in case you get locked out of your houseboat after hours.4. Got locked out of the portal as well (likely because we paid for late check out) so lost all access to any additional contact numbers and check out procedures. Tried to contact via VRBO app messaging and got no response there either. We think we covered everything for check out but not 100% sure.
