Olivi-server and Odi- pool guy. Super nice Very unhappy about paying for oceanfront view as my view was of a run down building with ocean in the far distance…should get money back. Great food,good drinks .Pub food was very overcooked.beautiful resort but minimal evening entertainment. Poor tv reception….Great for someone looking for super low key

Our room had an awesome view and we were able to sit on our deck each morning and drink coffee...Loved it. I really wish the staff was more accommodating. We had to go up to the bar for each drink and often times we took back our dirty dishes. I thought this was "all inclusive" and we Americans love to be waited on. (Tips were given out accordingly.) Food was very good but not a lot of choices. Pizza could have been delivered to the pool. And we waited close to an hour for a person to let us in our room after locking our key inside. Just wish there was more customer service.

Great view from room but the problem is that if you have to go to the front of the resort it is a long up and down walk when it is hot. You can call for a ride but expect 30 minute wait for it. The other problem is beach towels they are always out in the storage places at the beach and the pool, we were told that it was a slow week, so one would think that this would not be a problem. We had a snorkeling excursion we called for a ride 30 minutes early and at that time we told them we would need towels for it. Was told no problem, the excursion van was 15 minutes late so they had 45 minutes to round up beach towels we had to wait another 5 minutes for towels They were warm fresh out of dryer. The good side was nice little duplexes , great food , good drinks, and very friendly help. Management just needs to step up buy more beach towels and put more cart drivers on , you shouldn’t have to wait more than 10 minutes for a ride

Some things that our group disliked. Calling for transportation around the resort, no one would show up unless you called several times. For not being a busy week, you would think that it wouldn’t be a problem. The second complaint we had was that there was never any swim towels available any day of our stay, very disappointing. Finally there was some great staff and some that felt that customers were not their priority. Would not return.

Mixed feelings about this place. The grounds are gorgeous but you have to walk or wait a little for the golf carts, they don't always make their rounds at the bus stops, so you have to walk if you want to get somewhere fast. They will come to your room if you call them. The food was OK, I feel for the price you paid you should get a better selection. There is no a buffet at lunch, the lunch choices offered at the restaurants are just OK. Most servers were nice, some seemed to be bother by you asking for something. Drinks were good and strong.

Well….well. My stay at the Verandah was EXCELLENT! The resort is beautiful it’s a sight to see. Checking was quick.. our room/bathroom was huge and beautifully kept. Housekeeping came every other day to clean up. Hospitality was on the MONEY. And let me tell you…the food is to die for. As someone who’s from the West Indies when I stay at all inclusive resorts the food are normally tasteless but the Veranda chefs wasn’t playing with their seasonings. As we in the black community would say they put their foot in it😍. What can I say about the staffs Smh in amazement. The most wonderful people/ workers I’ve ever encountered. The happiest respectful sets of humans. The comradery with guests was so special. The Veranda owes me and my family NOTHING! Highly recommended. Do not hesitate. Amazing resort, amazing staffs, amazing food and service. IfI should return to Antigua ever in the future Veranda adult only all inclusive it shall be. 👏❤️🤗🥰

Absolutely loved this resort. Had everything you could want for your vacation to an island! Rooms were extremely comfortable and happy to have AC! All dining options were fantastic and we never had a bad meal. Resort staff were excellent and helped to make sure we were having a good time. Beautiful pools and beaches!

The property was beautiful, rooms are great. The bar at the main pool is too far. More lighting at night. There needs to be a tech upgrade. It was inconvenient to have to go to or call guest services to make reservations.

Overall, I think this resort is a good value. The grounds were lovely, Most of the people there were kind and helpful. Housekeeping was responsive. The negatives were that their golf cart transfer system was slow at times. We often had to wait for extended periods to get lifts to the main area and beach. Our villa was quite a distance so we did not wish to walk every day. The only other negative mention were the beds. They were sunken in, lumpy and hard. We requested an overlay but the resort did not have any. The result was that we got very little sleep over the week.
