Relaxing & Peaceful Stay

Steep Driveway! Great location, short drive to so many small towns! Renters provided the best food recommendations around. Petes Pancakes followed by Mingo Falls is a must. Very grateful for our stay!

Cozy Cabin

We loved our stay here with friends. The cabin was very clean and beautiful and had everything we needed. It was close to casino in Cherokee and the Train ride in Bryson. Loved the fire pit and twinkle lights along with the rocking chairs on the porch. Beautiful place.

Quiet and relaxing, great location

We attended open house at Western Carolina, and the cabin was the perfect location for visiting the school. After a short drive ( 15 minutes) to campus and a long day of walking and touring, we really appreciated the hot tub! A well-stocked kitchen and gas grill made cooking each evening a breeze, especially with a beautiful view of the mountains and a great fire as we cooked. Didn't have too much time for local exploring outside of the college tour, but really enjoyed walking through downtown Sylva and finding everything we needed for meals at Ingles. Beautiful drive home through Cherokee. Looking forward to returning!

Nice quiet little piece of Heaven!

The cabin is perfect for a small family, couples retreat! The views are amazing. The fog rolling in over the mountains was cool. We were literally in the clouds. Perfect valentines getaway. Was just a short drive to the Casino and downtown Cherokee. Thanks for Hosting us, we will be back if youll have us. Would/will highly recommend this rental to friends and family.

Great Memories!

My family and I had a great time staying at the cabin. We were so excited for our trip before Christmas and the cabin decorations were the cherry on top. What stood out to us was how clean, private, and comfortable the property was - exactly as advertised!

Great cabin with great view!

Loved the stay at this beautiful home! Decorated for Christmas was perfect for the grandchildren. Close to Bryson City for Polar Express train ride. Two king sized bedrooms with bathrooms.

Couldn’t have been better

Everything surpassed our expectations. Property was neat, clean, and everything we needed was provided. It was such a nice touch to see it had been decorated for Christmas including a tree. We would 100% book again.

Amazing view

The cabin was very clean and the perfect size for two couple and our dogs. We enjoyed the hot tub and having s’mores by the fire. Our two favorite things were the amazing Mountain View and the Christmas decorations!

Beautiful Mountain Cabin

Place was incredible. The decor was stunning. We loved the hot tub, the fire pit, and the cabin was absolutely stunning. Everything you could possibly want was there. Ate at Haywood's bar b q and it was so good!!!

Mountain Heaven

The cabin was awesome, just as appeared on VRBO, beautifully decorated, all the things you need at your fingertips, loved the fire pit, the hot tub. Things that were needed was a better road to get up to cabin and more grass for my dog to be comfortable with, I was scared he was going to go straight down the mountain the wrong way, over all it was wonderful!

Perfect place for two couples

We had an issue with entry and the AC but the host was very responsive. It is the perfect place for two couples with a bedroom and bath on each side and living area in the middle. It is a little difficult to find and accurate directions are only available on Google Maps, NOT Waze! Very well stocked and equipped home.

OUTSTANDING STAY!

We're seasoned at VRBO type & have travelled across the US extensively, using rentals & have never encountered the level of cleanliness, responsiveness and accuracy that we did with Horseshoe Bend. The location was hands down the most centrally located (directly off of 74) and ease of access. While you do need 4WD & feel comfortable/have experience w/driving on a gravel drive with a considerable grade, compared to other rentals(grossly misrepresented, 30 minutes or more from a main road, not maintained at all), this, by comparison is a super highway. W/i minutes we were on the main highway and within 15 minutes of grocery shopping, 20 minutes of getting on the BRP or getting to Lake Fontana (be aware this is incredibly difficult to find & have views, which this place did.) We stayed here for 3 months and while there wasn't plethora of storage, & it's best for shorter stays, the owners went out of their way to accommodate any request or respond to an issue, which were few and far between. The cabin was fresh and clean, with a fully equipped kitchen and all the updates. Clearly the housekeeping staff did an excellent job both in turnover & maintenance as it always looked like we were the first to rent it. The attention to detail exceeded our expectations & past experiences. Despite their being other cabins, you can't really hear or see anyone so the peace and tranquility that's sought when the mountains call remains alive and well here.
