The front desk guy was awesome. Checked us in quickly, efficently and a great deal of humour. He is a very hard working young man. We saw him all over the hotel and laundromat, fixing issues, solving problems, and always dealing with guests and clients with respect and humour. Well done!!

The room had poor accommodations for shower and coffee service. There was coffee, but no cups for drinking. No accoutrements for the coffee either.

I was put in a room in the basement that was hot as Hades, the window was in a prison like cage, the TV didn't work, the bed was just a mattress pad over springs, I think the curtains had blood stains on them, and there was no plug for the tub. The lobby bathroom was disgusting. I was told that they usually don't rent the rooms in the basement but we're full so I guess they decided to milk every last dime they could?

24 hr service, which is very convenient. Very friendly staff late night - he even helped carry all my luggage to the room. Convenient location downtown ($ 20 by taxi from airport) While the rooms and decor are quite "dated", everything is very clean - and the price is right. (Cleanliness being more important than style for me) Bed was comfy and room was quiet, so just right after a long day of travel and arriving around midnight. Rooms have a fridge and dining table/chairs Fast food /take out very close by.

Wish we had air conditioning and a microwave. I couldn’t watch TV without a technician helping me. But at least there was someone who came to my room to help me. Bugs in the bathroom.

Beware and book elsewhere.

Bring house shoes if you plan on staying here. The property is run down, outdated, and only superficially cleaned at best. The front desk attendant seemed far more interested in her phone conversation than in welcoming my family. I would never have booked this hotel had I known what to expect. Upon check-in, we were met with at least 15 posted rules that made it clear the hotel is often used for drugs, parties, and late-night activity. Outside, a sign even read “staff carry guns” — unsettling, to say the least. The parking lot foot traffic made us uneasy about even leaving our vehicle there. Save yourself the stress and spend the extra $10–$20 to stay somewhere else. Beware.

You get what you pay for. It was the cheapest place to stay. There were alcohol bottles under our beds. The floor was sticky. The shower head had black mold on it. We waited for 2 hours to get extra blankets. We got a sheet and duvet cover for the extra blankets. We needed a blow dryer but were told they were all being used and didn’t have any more.

After spending 24 days in camp and three more days traveling, I booked a room with a king bed through Expedia. My confirmation clearly stated a king bed. When I arrived, I checked in, dropped off my luggage, and went out to run errands (haircut, shopping, dropping off my truck for service). Later, when I returned to the hotel room, I realized the bed was actually a queen. When I went to the front desk to ask about the king bed, I was told, “We don’t have any.” I didn’t mind that the hotel showed its age. I didn’t mind the few unfortunate people outside the building, or even the one lingering in the hall on the third floor. But after 24 days in camp, not getting the king bed I specifically booked and confirmed was disappointing.
