The Ashville Guesthouse is a superb place to stay. I stayed here for four nights. The staff (family owned and operated) are friendly, polite, personable, and professional. It is a little outside of Westport, but close enough to everything. The Ashville Guesthouse delivers an exceptional breakfast for all tastes. I would come back here in a heart-beat. Many thanks for making my trip rememberable!! Mahalo nui loa!!

Breakfast had several different options all equally delicious. Coffee and tea plus several juices were offered. Fresh fruit and yogurt, full Irish breakfast, mini Irish breakfast were all on the menu. Hillary and Oliver are the owners and very friendly and attentive to their guests. Their college age children were helping serve breakfast and checking guests in. They were like their parents very helpful. Lots of space for parking close to the building.

The staff were excellent and so helpful. They accommodated our Vegan options and breakfast was so delicious! We were only there for one night but I would certainly book there again. ☺️☘️

This was a quick overnight stay while we visited Westport. Hilary greeted us at check-in and was very nice. She was also very helpful with providing us with taxi information. The property is about a mile and a half from the shops and restaurants, so we walked into town, then took a cab back later after shopping, dinner, pints, and music. The property is well maintained, with easy parking in the yard. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a pleasant atmosphere in the dining room. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend it highly.

Hillary greeted us and was very thorough on our check in and provided pertinent information for the area. Breakfast was amazing. Parking was right in front of the front door. We enjoyed our stay at Ashville Guesthouse. So bright and sparkling clean! Friendly staff. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Quiet. The location was more convenient than I anticipated. A quick and easy drive into the main area of Westport. We spent time exploring Achill Island and the Wild Nephin National Park. Beautiful!

Ashville Guest House

This is an amazing property. Our stay was "Outstanding" in every way. The Ashville is very convenient to the excellent restaurants and pubs (focused on traditional Irish music as well as all other music types). It is also a great "central" location to explore and experience all the wonderful events and locations (such as Achille Island and Crough Patrick). The hotel and rooms are spotless and the breakfast is delicious. Oliver and his family are totally focused on their guests and the enjoyment and comfort. In short, this is an "Outstanding" place to stay.

Comfortable, quiet and a great breakfast.

Really enjoyed my stay here - the owners were really friendly, the room/bathroom was very comfortable with a good shower, and it felt quiet. The wifi could be a little temperamental at times. Breakfast was excellent. It is a little out of the centre of Westport, but if you are in a car it's no problem to find or get around.

Great property and location, just outside of the downtown area. Easy free parking, quiet, clean, and a great breakfast too. Hosts Oliver and Hillary are helpful and enthusiastic, and Emma and Dylan help keep everything running smoothly too. Only slight negative was some low angled ceilings and lights upstairs (for a tall person). Highly recommend if you don’t mind being about a mile from the city center.

Oliver booked our Dinner Reservations and drove us into town. We enjoyed their restaurant recommendations. He showed us where the taxi stand is so we could enjoy the pub scene following dinner and easily return to their Guesthouse.

Ideal place to stay at Westport

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ashville Guest House. Hillary and Oliver were perfect hosts. Breakfast was freshly cooked local produce and plentiful. Only a short drive to town made this a great location.

Lovely friendly owners. Beautiful house with spacious bedrooms and really comfortable beds. Nice breakfast. Also has a great tennis court which can be used. Need to have a car though as a little bit out of town but plenty of cheap and reliable local cab companies.
