A cozy inn with a warm, rustic atmosphere (wood burning stove) surrounded by beautiful Vermont countryside. The inn is owned and operated by a friendly family who gave us helpful advice on restaurants in the area. Breakfasts were great. Vermont maple syrup! It's a 20-minute drive from Okemo, but the drive was worthwhile. If we return to the area we will stay here again.

Everything about this place is amazing, the homey feel, the cleanliness, and friendly atmosphere ran by people who put love and care into their inn, people who care about their guests and provides top notch hospitality. We were able to check in 2 hours early, Ally gave us all the perfect recommendations around town. They had a small menu with light bites and wine available for purchase. Super convenient when you can text their number for any requests, with quick response time. They brought our light bites and wine up to our room, there’s also free coffee, tea, and games in their warm and nicely holiday decorated guest living room. Cherry on top, breakfast was included in our stay with a wide spread of eggs, bacon, juices, bagels, yogurt… etc Excellent choice of stay for our short weekend ski trip. Cozy and welcoming definitely coming back.

I stayed at here on a whim in December ‘25 on an early ski trip to Stratton & Killington, looking for a spot that wouldn’t break the bank. Got a whole lot more than I bargained for! Eggs & bacon for breakfast, super cozy cabin, great hospitality, and good recommendations. New owners Ali & Lane are hard at work investing more and more into the place and I can’t wait to go back in the summer. Highly recommend for anyone seeking an unfussy stay with rustic charm and super-welcoming owner/operators.

Charming lodge and rooms in a nicely curated vintage vibe. The hosts, Ali and Lane, were friendly and accommodating of our every request and question. Location very convenient to hiking and sightseeing in nearby towns.

The room was so small. You hit your knees on the bathroom door when using the toilet. Bathroom door didn't close shut. No fridge/microwave. WAY OVERDUE for a remodel. I thought it was very pricey for what was offered. Bed and linens seem to be fairly new. Very comfortable sleeping. Breakfast was lovely. I assume it was the owner in charge of breakfast. He was very attentive and friendly. The living room was a nice touch with comfy couches, games, coffee and a fire. Our reservation says "with a view of the courtyard". We were in the back of the building andf only saw hay bales.

It appears the property was uner new ownership and upgrades/remodeling was taking place. Unfortuantely the room we stayed in had not been upgraded. It was comfortable but outdated and the bathroom needed some updates.

This place is a time capsule. No air conditioning. My room probably hasn't been updated in 50 years. The bathroom was challenging. If you wanted to get from the shower to the sink, you had to either step over the toilet or open the door to walk around it. The upholstered chair was badly stained.The bed was good though.
