The house was in great location and travel to Mt. Snow was about 10 mins, but communication with owner was almost non-existent for problems that arose during the stay. The power went out once but more importantly the driveway and access to the home was covered with snow and ice over the 3 days we were there and many of us were stranded (despite having snow tires and front wheel drive). On the last day we were told to wait out in our cars in 20 degree weather so that the cleaning service could clean for the next family. It was rude and unhospitable given that the snow and salt/sand service could have been properly performed given 3 days of requests and only minor service was done on the 1st day. When we refused to leave, we were told to read our lease and that they would call the police, something I welcomed. If owner is going to charge these rates, they need to understand that there is a quality of service and response time expected in return. Owner never answered our calls directly or returned any of them. Only through a direct connect via VRBO did he respond. Again, inconsiderate and irresponsible for someone who commands these rates. Not a great way to start the year. Also you need to bring your own pans because the house had none. The rest of the kitchen was adequately stacked. There was also a shortage of towels and toilet paper. Best parts of the house were the heated floors and the hot tub.
