Nuestra casa rural con un gran jardín está muy tranquila entre Dadizele (lugar de peregrinación) y Beselare (parroquia de brujas). En medio del turismo de guerra (en Flandes Fields Ypres, Puerta Menin, cementerio Tyne Cot, Museo Passchendaele Zonnebeke, Hill 60, Sanctuary Wood, ...), cerca de las ciudades históricas de Gante, Brujas y Lille (Lille). La costa belga está a solo 55 kilómetros de distancia. Parque de atracciones Bellewaerde a 10 kilómetros. Una casa de vacaciones ideal para aquellos que desean tomar un poco de aire fresco en el exterior y, sin embargo, muy cerca de las muchas atracciones turísticas de Flandes Occidental.
La casa está bien equipada (lavavajillas, TV de pantalla plana con canales alemanes, franceses, holandeses, ingleses y flamencos, DVD.

What a Joy!

This was an ideal location for our exploration of this corner of Belgium and also NE France. We were delighted with the house and the facilities provided and could not have asked for more. Welcomed by Marc, the host who showed us around and had some lovely suggestions of places to visit and eat, we then spent our week criss-crossing the region and enjoying everyday. So much to see and do - we didn't manage it all but that just gives us the opportunity to go back again.

Lovely, well equipped house in great location

The house had everything we needed and was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location was peaceful and was excellent for exploring the World War I battlefields and museums around Ypres. We enjoyed cycling along the cycle paths and quiet country roads. A fascinating area to explore. Marc welcomed us and gave us plenty of helpful information about places to visit. There is also a wealth of books, maps and leaflets in the house. Overall, we'd highly recommend this house.

Wonderful stay in beautiful area.

This property was perfect for our family. Excellent location to visit all historical sites. We also visited Bruge and Luxembourg. Marc is an excellent host. We enjoyed the tranquil location and the use of bikes he provided. This property was like a home from home and we were sad to leave. Thanks for a great stay.

The perfect house to visit West Flanders

We had a wonderful week-long stay at Terrand. The house is lovely, very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. The garden is beautiful and has a large lawn which was perfect for our teenage boys to play soccer. The garden and patio's views of the countryside are lovely. The check-in process was seamless. Everything about this house was perfect! The location is also perfect - rural and quiet yet minutes from the villages of Geluwe and Dadizele, with grocery stores, bakeries, and restaurants. It's also very close to the highway, which makes for easy day trips throughout Flanders. We visited Ieper (Ypres), Brugge (Bruges), Gent and the beaches on the North Sea - all within an hour's drive of Terrand. We had a really wonderful experience at Terrand and highly recommend this property for families traveling to Flanders and looking for a quiet and comfortable place to stay.

Un séjour de rêve

Un très agréable séjour dans la maison de Marc. Maison agréable, propre, très bien équipée. Bien située, à proximité d'Ypres, Courtrai, Lille, non loin de Bruges et Gand. Marc est un hôte très sympathique, chaleureux, arrangeant. La petite touche de décorations de Noël en plus. Et la petite bouteille de bienvenue. Bref, si vous voulez séjourner dans la région, c'est LA location à prendre

In Flanders Field

This was a perfect spot for touring not just Passchendaele but also further afield. Managed Ghent and Brugge without too much hassle. It was really nice to come back to the house. Some great restaurants no more than five miles away including Den Artiest and Restaurant Historic. Good Spar in Dadizele with a great range of food. Highly recommend the accommodation. Marc the Host was brilliant.

Sehr empfehlenswert!

Sehr sauberes, gepflegtes und wunderschönes Haus mit großem Garten und Grill. Auch die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Kontaktaufnahme war schnell und problemlos, der Vermieter sehr nett. Ausflüge z.B nach Brügge, Gent und ans Meer innerhalb von max 45 Minuten zu erreichen. Herzlichen Dank!!

An incredible place with terrific hosts

My wife and I stayed here betwern RWC2023 games and to explore Belgium and, in particular, the WW1 history. It could not be located better. Right in the country with easy access to Passchendale, Ypres, Menin Gate etc, and a short drive into Bruges (Marc recommended parking at the station which was great, only €6.90 for a day, easy to dind and big spaces). The place is spotlessly clean with everything you need, including a huge amount of literature on WW1 history, museums and walks (The Pallinbeek/ Hill 60 walk is worth it as they have planted hedges where the German/ Allied trench lines lay so you get a really good feel). Rooms are comfy and everything is to hand. Marc and Stien even left a supply of dishwasher tablets, liquid, tea-towels, kitchen foil, cling film etc which was a nice touch. The kitchen knives were razor sharp, which I absolutely loved. The local village (Dadizeele) was pleasant and has a nice couple of eateries - we used De Klook which was busy with pensioners (always a good sign) and it was great. We would recommend this VRBO home, just take insect repellent if you are out and about. Brilliant place and lovely people.

Perfect Belgian Getaway

We LOVED this property. It wasn't exactly in the area we had originally planned on staying but we booked it based on the reviews and it didn't disappoint. It is in a quiet farming area with views over the surrounding countryside. The house has 3 bedrooms, one downstairs and two upstairs. There is a very large kitchen, dining and living space with TV, DVD player and selection of DVDs. The outdoor space is immaculate with a large patio table, lawn and outdoor fireplace. The owner provided a wide assortment of brochures and books about the surrounding areas in several languages and he pulled out specific information about things he thought might interest us ahead of our arrival. We did lose hot water at one point but Marc came and fixed it within 15 minutes of us notifying him of the problem. We wish we could have stayed longer.
