Nicely Furnished Home, Close to Lt. Island (1641)

Built in 1978, this contemporary style cottage looks out onto a tidal estuary in the Lieutenant Island Road area of Wellfleet. The house is bright and open and nicely furnished and well equipped. The kitchen, living room and dining area along with a bedroom with a king bed and full bath make up the main floor. On the second level an open loft has two twin beds along with a sitting area. Sliders from the living area lead to a large deck and the beautiful views of the changing tides on the salt marsh. It is a 5-10 minute drive to Wellfleet Center and the beaches at the ocean, the bay and the ponds. An administrative fee and applicable taxes may apply. Linens are not provided—guests may bring their own or rent. This property does not have air conditioning.

Nice house

The house was very nice minus the fact this was the first time I have used VRBO where linens were not included and there was an additional charge to use them from the home owner. My suggestion would be to increase the rent if you want to charge for the sheets and towels and include them. TV was in an inconvenient location. Not easily accessible for seniors to go up and down ladder like stairs. Please update and/or sharpen the knives (cutlery). A small paring knife would be nice to have as well. The knives in the drawer were useless. Couldn’t cut anything without stabbing it first. The view was amazing and the sunsets beautiful. Thank you for reading our suggestions for the future.
