This worked great for our family. Wedding weekend and enjoyed sleeping in, quiet neighborhood, and spending quality time visiting. Lots of room and easy for Mom to navigate with a walker. A few stairs but once inside all good. Plenty of room for little kids also. Great weekend and would highly recommend the home.

Waukee private home

House was exactly as the pictures indicated online. The owner responded quickly to all my questions and provided guidance when asked. Quiet and friendly neighborhood. Great location for groceries, food, gas and easy to get to anywhere in Des Moines in 15-25 min. Would consider this house again with my family. We had 3 adult married children plus 3 kids (4, 16mo, 9mo) and my husband and I. We appreciated the great room sizes and beds all being King/Queen and rooms accommodating pack n plays. Three full Bathrooms made getting ready with 10 people a breeze. Nice back yard area and large outdoor deck table:chairs for extra seating was great! Kitchen was decently stocked with basics, we didn’t have any issues making meals. Appreciated new appliances and large refrigerator! We did have concerns with stair railing on main floor not being toddler proof, please use caution plastic panels pop out easily with little effort.
Plastic railings pop off if pressure applied by child.

This was an excellent place to come back after enjoying our plans in Des Moines. Plenty of room for everyone to enjoy time away from the group but also to enjoy playing cards.
