Wonderful Property and Owners!

We stayed in Watkinsville for our daughter’s graduation weekend from UGA. The property was spacious, lovely and the setting could not have been more pleasant! Up a long drive into a gorgeous wooded setting! It had all we could need for all of us! Frederick could not have been a better host! Cordial, friendly and extremely helpful! I will give a bit of a head’s up that Waze and Google Maps did not direct us properly to the house (plus the other family members that drove were also misguided), however Fred came and found us and got us there! All in all I would recommend and stay with Fred and his wife Beverly again. They were onsite but in a separate residence which was nice when you needed help! Thank you for hosting us in your home!!

Quiet and very enjoyable stay

We needed a quiet and comfortable place to stay over - to celebrate the life of a loved one who passed. We made an excellent choice! We had no problem with the long driveway. A couple ruts - easy-peasy. A simple, slow-n-easy drive made the stay that much farther from the hustle and bustle of the roads and related noise. Just bird song and a horse's neigh every now and then. The house was clean and nicely spread out. Bigger on inside than appeared from the front/outside view. The beds were comfortable and sheets/towels were clean and nicely put out. Enjoyed the deck. We really had no real problems or complaints. Instructions (rules/notes/instructions) were straight forward - recco you to read them. I would suggest you coordinate with the owners if you need extra sheets or towels in advance. That should not be a problem as they were very responsive. Found texting the best for us. Our great Nieces and Nephews loved the play house set but, as the owners state, kids should be supervised at all times! We are planning another trip down there and we know where we are going to stay again. Highly recommended.
