Very clean place. I appreciated having the mini kitchen. Its perfect for a short visit and very walkable to the restaurants, stores, and anything else in town. The building is very old and the outside definitely needs a face-lift. Concrete stairs had crumbling areas and needed paint etc. Also keep in mind that there are stairs.We had an issue with the thermostat but Shannon was very quick to respond. We were happy with it overall.

We were disappointed with our stay. There was major construction just 10 feet from our room—a full house being built right next door. Both mornings, we were woken up at 6:30am by loud banging, jackhammering, and workers talking. This made it impossible to rest or enjoy the room.I wish this had been clearly disclosed in advance, as it significantly impacted the experience and would have influenced our booking decision.

Great location and price. Walking distance to all the great restaurants in town, and so close to everything we were in Vermont to hike and visit. Would stay there again!
