¡No busque más, su búsqueda de la casa de vacaciones perfecta de DC ahora está completa! Después de la renovación de arriba a abajo en la década de 1990 y otra en mayo de 2017, este apartamento de 2 habitaciones separado en mi Historic Mass Ave NE Brownstone construido originalmente en la década de 1880 ofrece todo lo que necesita: encanto histórico, confort moderno , y una ubicación extremadamente conveniente en el corazón de Historic Capitol Hill, al lado de Stanton Park, a pocas cuadras del Senado, el Capitolio, la Biblioteca del Congreso, el Tribunal Supremo, tiendas, restaurantes y Whole Foods.

Una de las cuatro unidades disponibles en esta propiedad, 607B se encuentra en el nivel de la calle y tiene capacidad para 6 adultos con 2 dormitorios, 1 baño completo y un sofá cama doble en la sala de estar. La unidad cuenta con más de 1,000 pies cuadrados de espacio habitable, una cama tamaño King en la suite principal, nueva cama tamaño queen en el segundo dormitorio; una cocina moderna y totalmente equipada con crockpots y todo lo que pueda desear; gran mesa de comedor de vidrio; y un televisor LED HDTV con conexión inalámbrica a Internet de alta velocidad.

Su ubicación está a poca distancia de todo lo que necesita y quiere ver: el National Mall, Whole Foods, H Street, Trader Joe's y Lincoln Park, pero también hay dos paradas de metro a 10 minutos a pie (Eastern Market y Union Station) y varias paradas de autobús dentro de una cuadra. Recomiendo encarecidamente los recorridos en autobús que también salen de Union Station.

Mi vecindario es tranquilo y residencial, hogar de los miembros del Congreso y sus familias, pero a solo unas manzanas del epicentro político de la ciudad y de una multitud de restaurantes, bares, cafeterías y tiendas. ¡Todo lo que DC tiene para ofrecerle estará a la vuelta de la esquina!

Everything was as advertised. Close proximity to the capital. We walked everywhere and had a great time. I was a little worried about the parking, but the owner explained what was happening and it all worked out great. Thanks for the accommodation and the amazing time.

This apartment was perfect for our long weekend surrounding the Marine Corp Marathon. It is located in a nice neighborhood within easy walking distance of multiple metro stations. Getting to the monuments was just a short walk and train ride away. The kitchen was adequately stocked for cooking meals in but there wee also plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby. Would be happy to stay here again.

The location absolutely sells this rental. There is definite need of repairs to the property! The bathroom door doesn’t close properly and the property shows signs of lack of maintenance. There was mildew in one of the bedrooms and under the sink in the bathroom, which caused our allergies to flare. The beds were very comfortable.

We had a quick visit to D.C. and this property was in a convenient location, close to many monuments. Be prepared to walk. It's about a half-mile to Capitol Hill and nearly three miles to the Lincoln Memorial. We spent most of our time exploring the city, but when we were at the property, we appreciated how friendly and accommodating the hosts were. The only downside was that the furniture was a bit uncomfortable for sitting and sleeping.

This was the perfect place for a family to be to visit D.C. Within walking distance of the capitol! 10-15 min walk to a metro station across from Trader Joe’s so we could grab groceries on our way home. Sweet, safe neighborhood. We loved it!!

Super cute neighborhood. Was great for a family. We got groceries and made breakfast and dinners at the house and got lunches on the go when we were out touring. A short walk to capital hill and longer, but still manageable for teens and adults to get to the further monuments. Will miss my morning runs to the Washington Monument and will visit again!

Great location and perfect for families

We stayed at this location while sightseeing in DC. The hosts communicated everything accurately and provided good instructions for checking in/out, and parking. The parking pass worked out really well and the townhouse had enough space for our family of five. One of the best things about this rental is the location. We walked to the Capital Building, Library of Congress, and metro bus stops. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. We would love to stay here again sometime in the future.

Great Location and Great Price

The location of this place is amazing! A ten minute walk gets you to the Supreme Court, the Capital, Eastern Market, and a metro station with easy access to the rest of the mall, monuments, and museums. The apartment itself is clean, well maintained, and well furnished. It is a surprising amount of space. The hosts were quick to respond and very helpful when needed. We would stay here again!

Just as advertised. Location was great! The rooms were as described. Great space for our family of 5. The beds were comfortable. The main reason I didn’t rate it a 5 is because even though the host mentioned that the shower was tricky to adjust, I actually found it rather difficult to operate. I either got very hot water or cold water without ever being able to adjust it to a happy medium. A few more hooks for bath towels would have also been helpful, but that is a minor detail. Overall I would recommend.

Great Capitol Hill Location for Walkers

We are two grandmas who love to walk and this apartment was the perfect base for DC exploration. It was also clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Eric is a great host who was helpful with our planning and quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Quiet and close to tourist spots

We really enjoyed the quiet relaxing time in the apartment. It made relaxing after a long day of sightseeing so nice. The apartment is blocks away from the capitol, library of congress and Supreme Court. We also had a nice short walk to pick up groceries at a Whole Foods. The owners had the apartment stocked with necessities in the kitchen and clean sheets on comfortable beds. We will be looking this place up again if we come back to DC!
