Nice hotel, close to Washington w/o the expense

We enjoyed our stay, however, would have liked better free WiFi, a free continental breakfast, free turn down service (w/o having to become a Marriot Rewards member, and free parking. These are services that I have NEVER had to pay for at other hotels. The hotel staff were wonderful, especially May. I will recommend this hotel with a warning about additional charges.

Great views of Georgetown and downtown DC

Pros: I like the parking availability (you do have to pay for it, bear that in mind!), the closeness to the Metro station, the cleanliness of the room.
Cons: It's too bad they don't have ventilation in the bathrooms, but the AC helped with that. The service I experienced at Connexions was horrid, work on it
Location: It's right by Key Bridge which leads straight into the Georgetown neighborhood. Metro is a short walk away, so easy access to downtown DC.
I stayed here for a week. I'd known about the hotel for quite some time because I went to Georgetown and because my grandfather used to stay here when he came in town for AF conventions. I received wonderful service at check-in and check-out, very friendly and helpful staff. The cleaning crew is great, also very friendly and accommodating.

Key Bridge Marriott in DC a huge disappointment

The location and housekeeping staff were both excellent but that's where positive comments end. The room wasn't ready when we arrived at 9pm, after 39 minute wait we took a different room, the room had an odd odor, the a/c didn't work properly, the bath faucet dripped constantly and the hotel looked "tired" and neglected.

Dropping my daughter off at college!

Pros: It was clean, and the pool is very nice.
Cons: Communication with the Travelocity site.
Location: Absolutely wonderful location and close to anything to do in the DC/Arlington area
My reservation was originally saved with a king sized bed. Immediately, I called Travelocity to change it to two beds. I thought everything was all set until we checked in. Originally, the fee was to include free parking and wifi. Upon check in, the reception staff informed me that my reservation was changed and that the new one did not include parking or wifi but still cost me the same. I showed the staff my confirmation email and she, Jennifer, stated that she would take care of it. The day of check out I received a bill, which had been paid to my mastercard (on record with the hotel for incidentals) for two days of parking. I went to the front desk and spoke with a gentleman there who stated that the parking was not included with my room. I guess Jennifer never took care of it. I again showed him the confirmation email and the original email, both including parking. He proceeded to tell me that when we book through Travelocity the hotel receives about 15% of the costs and that those guests are basically not important to them, and next time I should not use Travelocity. He did adjust the bill, or so he says. He gave me a rather nondescript receipt for the parking, which has yet to appear on my statement as a refund. So, I guess only time will tell. The kids liked the pool, but as my child will hopefully be at college there for the next four years, I will look for other places to stay. This is my third time using Travelocity and the first problem I encountered.

Enjoyable Weekend!

We recently stayed at the Key Bridge Marriott to attend a wedding there.  All of our requests were met cheerfully; early check-in, adjoining rooms, 2 beds instead of king size, internet & parking rates.  Very clean rooms & comfy beds.  My first morning there I decided to take an early morning swim.  The pool and surrounding area was clean and the water was a very comfortable temperature.  Food was wonderful, but service was a bit slow in the Connexions Restaurant.  Great location for DC travel.  Yes, I would stay there again.

Nice hotel in a great area.

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
Cons: No free Internet
Lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance and close proximity to the Metro for tourist destinations. Very clean and tidy. The hot tub and sauna were not working which was disappointing. Both wifi ($12/day) and parking ($19/day) were pricey. However, none of these cons would keep us from going back. It was a good price for the DC area.

Beds hurt my back

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, good food and service
This is a really nice hotel. It is the very first Marriott hotel in the world, and the staff is first rate. The place is very clean and well designed. It looks alot different than it did when I stayed there in 1968 with my parents. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was quite good(I work in restaurants and hotels). I shared a room with a friend during this stay, and when I made the reservation I could not get a guarantee of two double beds. I really worried about being stuck with a King bed for the two of us until check-in when the two beds were available. This is not a great start to a hotel stay. My only complaint with the room is the beds were very uncomfortable. They were about six inches of foam rubber on a hard platform. Way too soft even for me, and the mattress moved around on the foundation so that I was falling out towards the floor in the morning.

A Marriott in a great location.

Cons: No free Internet
A very good but not necessarily great Marriott located just a short walk from the Metro and a slightly longer walk across the bridge into Georgetown. Friendly, outgoing staff.

Very handy location and helpful, smiley staff

Pros: Free Internet
For the money, this is a great place to stay while visiting DC. Not the most exciting suburb, but it is just accross the Bridge from Georgetown, and close to the train to all the DC sights. The hop-on hop-off bus picks up from here in the mornings as well. Both the Bar and the Restaraunt were worth the visit also. Only downside was that I was on the first accommodation level and could hear the music from a wedding downstairs - it wasn't too loud or late though.
