Great property. If you are super tall it might be a little uncomfortable, because it has low ceilings. One in my group was 6'1" and was fine. Great location and a beautiful neighborhood.

Overall very happy with our stay!

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and safe, which were our highest priorities. It's a budget friendly stay, so you get what you pay for, but it was exactly what myself and two teens needed while we visited the city. Good location in a neighborhood that is just a short drive (15-20 minutes with traffic) from the museums and monuments. Parking can be a challenge and we had to park a couple blocks away at times but we had no issues with our permit and felt safe walking in the neighborhood. Overall, I would recommend this apartment for someone looking for a budget friendly place to stay!

This sight had more amenities than I typically find. I was able to park very close in a walkable neighborhood of Washington DC. It was simply accessible for myself, my dog, and our gear. I recommend this location.

The apartment was the perfect size and had everything we needed. I didn't read the description close enough to know it was a basement apt. which meant we could hear the tenant upstairs. very noisy in the morning if you want to sleep in and they are up already. Otherwise, great place to stay.

Frustrating/unacceptable. We arrived after a long day of travel to find that the room had not been cleaned after the previous guest had left. There were no sheets on the bed, wet towels on the floor, and a dirty bathroom. We immediately contacted the host and looked for spare sheets. We found sheets that were covered hair and were stained. After we did not receive a response from the host, we contacted VRBO directly and they said they would contact the host. After 30 minutes on the phone with VRBO, they put us on the phone with the property owner who said they would try and contact the property manager (host) and would need to give them one hour to respond. It was now 12:30 AM. The property owner was completely unsympathetic to our situation and did not seem to care that we were not able to sleep. The host finally responded that they would send someone in the morning and that we could go upstairs for more sheets. When I asked if they meant the upstairs apartment with other guests in it, they did not respond. Since we were not able to sleep there without clean sheets, we had no other option but to book a hotel. We attempted to get a refund from VRBO but they said the host has to approve any refund and we'd have to give the host an opportunity to clean the place even though they had an opportunity to clean the place before we arrived... We decided to stay at the hotel our entire trip due to the cleanliness issue and lack of concern from the owners and property management.

Cozy is a strong word

When our original booking canceled last minute, we were lucky to find this place available. The neighborhood and location are great. Especially if you have a dog, theres a small park right there. As quick a trip to anywhere in DC as traffic will allow. However. Th trash bins are right outside the entrance so be quick about entering or you'll let flies in. Also, some of the sheets and blankets had pre existing holes in them. If youre over 6 feet, you may want to rethink booking unless you want to duck in the bathroom. Howver overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and the commicative property manager

Deserves zero stars

This apartment was moldy and smelled musty. The shower curtain had mold spots all over the liner. The pillows were stained yellow and the linens were very old and threadbare. The TV was nonfunctional due to no batteries. The neighbors upstairs (this is a basement apartment) were extremely loud and noisy throughout the day and more so at night. The air conditioning/heating unit did not heat the place. Lastly, the door did not lock. On the second day we realized the door lock did not work. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Although the pictures make it seem like a clean fairly sized place, it is in fact a small dirty, dated overpriced place.
