Step back in time to Syvila`s Cottage. This darling bungalow was built in the 1940`s and is home to the same family that renovated it today. All the charm remains but the updated kitchen and bath are a real bonus.

The private backyard is almost one-half acre. Fully fenced, lovely old growth Weeping Spruce trees throughout the yards, covered outside seating for dining or just relaxing in the garden.

Nice cottage. An updated interior with a small kitchen but great appliances. Small bathroom but nicely tiled shower. Cottage can easily accommodate 1, a couple, 2 friends but would be a little cramped for 2 couples. Might be okay for a couple with 1 or 2 children. BIG back yard with a nice garden area. Quiet neighborhood. Host was very easy to contact and responded quickly.

Lovely home for quick weekend

We spent a weekend here and the highlight of the house is the back yard. Stunning place to lounge and enjoy a glass of wine (purchased at a nearby winery of course). The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. The only downside to the property was having just one bathroom. An additional half bath would make all the difference with four adults. Would also love light blocking curtains, it’s quite bright in the morning. Otherwise, amazing!

Great easy stay for our family. Nice simple house had everything we needed - nice coffee and wine! Although we were out and about all day - the yard and kitchen are great. The neighborhood is quiet, and guests should be respectful of the neighbors.

Perfect for two couples or a family of 3 or 4! Back yard and patio area are comfortable and inviting. House has original wood floors that squeak loudly in spots, but the comfort and top quality amenities made up for it!! Would definitely stay again!

Amazing backyard and patio area where we spent most of our time. House is quite small and VERY creaky - not ideal for a family with a toddler. Beds also very creaky. Would be better for adults only. Some ants throughout the house. Overall enjoyed our stay but with some minor downsides.
