Not so Quality Experience in Walla Walla

Ive traveled to the Walla Walla area from the Napa Valley several times. The Quality Inn and Suites was by far the worst experience. They do not list their required deposit which is considerably more than most establishments. The service was the rudest I experienced in 60 years. They would not let me check in and kept my money. It was outrigbt theft. And Hotels.com enabled this. I will never use any of Expedia's apps again. Worst decision ever. And on my birthday.

Whenever I visit Walla Walla, we always reserve this hotel. I appreciate that this hotel is within walking distance of Whitman College, which is where my son attends.

The common area furnishings were a bit dated but immaculately clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was a bit smaller than it looks in the pictures but again very well kept and clean. Parking was free and close to the entrances. There was a good selection of breakfast and it was well stocked. The selection included a variety of items for a sit down breakfast as well as quite a few grab and go options. Which was nice as my wife and I ate breakfast but my daugther slept late and just grabbed a few items to go on the way out to race. Overall it was a good value for the price but most importantly it was clean and comfortable. Also FYI: It is very close to the Walla Walla Drag strip for those that are in town to race. Not close enough to hear the track from the hotel but close enough that it only takes about 5 minutes to get there.
