Perfect place to relax at our “Little Cabin in the Big Woods.” Our cabin is conveniently located 1.5 miles outside of Viroqua on a secluded township road, near premier trout fishing creeks, many county parks and snowmobile trails. The cabin boasts a large wrap around deck. Perfect spot to relax with the sounds of nature and views of the Valley. Inside this modern cabin is a loft with a king and 2 XL twins, main level bedroom with full bed and a full size sofa sleeper. H.S internet

The space
Driftless Area and Historial Viroqua are a destination for "Foodies", Farm to Table restaurants, small town businesses and outdoor enthusiast. Our cabin is set up with a well equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook at home or order take out at any of our great dining treats. We offer online shopping from our farm. We will delivered and have it ready for you when you arrive! Our beef , chicken and farm fresh eggs are from our family farm. The cabin will be seasonally decorated. The cabin is a perfect romantic getaway or for friends, family vacation in the beautiful Driftless Area. It's near off road biking trail on Hubbard Hills and snowmobile trails just down the road. Within 10 minutes you can enjoy hiking, snowshoeing and fishing at Sidie Hollow County Park and other County parks in our area. We’re 35 miles south of Mt. LaCrosse for down hill skiing. X Country Ski trails available at local golf course, Wildcat Mt. State Park and Kickapoo Reserve. Our community boosts the television host of Wisconsin Foodie, Luke Zahms restaurant Driftless Cafe just a quick 5 minute drive or 1.5 mile scenic rural walk into town.

Guest access
The basement is accessible only from outdoors. It’s heated and semi-finished. The bathroom is usable with a shower(when above freezing temps), toilet and utility sink (year round) . The water in the shower is turned off when the weather is below freezing. There is a foosball and air hockey games for you to use. This area is great for storing extra hunting, fishing, snowmobile gear, ski's, snowshoes and biking equipment. You can also use it for a larger area to gather with your guests. TV and table and chairs. Pull out queen sofa sleeper is available.
There are 3 security cameras on site. One camera is located by the front door. One by the back door and the final camera is on the ground level by the basement door. This is a remote country setting. The cameras are for security purposes only.

Tranquil Retreat Close to Three Witches Farm & Stable
My daughter's college horse show at Three Witches Farm & Stable in Readstown demanded a convenient and restful stay. We found exactly that in this delightful property, just a mere 15 minutes away. Location: Nestled in a serene locale, this property proved to be the perfect haven after our long, eventful days. Its proximity to Three Witches Farm & Stable made it an ideal choice. Accommodation: The king bed provided a rejuvenating night's sleep. Though we didn't extensively utilize the amenities indoors, the peaceful ambiance of the property was a welcome respite. Recommendation: Without hesitation, I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. Whether it's for a college event, a weekend getaway, or simply a desire to unwind amidst tranquil surroundings.

Great little cabin in the driftless
Nice, quiet, clean cabin for a quick getaway in the Driftless area. Short drive to Sidie Hollow Park, town of Viroqua, and just a 30min drive to Kickapoo Valley Reserve. Host was very responsive, listing exactly as expected. The bed was really comfortable! Would stay here again if in the area.

A bit of R&R
The Sidie Hollow cabin was just what we needed to bring 2023 to a close and begin a peaceful 2024…upon entering its charming space one feels at peace with its gentle smell of pine…the cabin is appointed in a woodland decor that is very charming and attention to detail is provided throughout making one feel at home…the hosts were just wonderful…we enjoyed the area’s hiking trails and nearby organic restaurants…the beauty and charm of the Driftless speaks for itself…we highly recommend you choose to do the same

Good house...Your being recorded.
Check in was easy everything was provided. Upon arrival I immediately notice 3 video recording cameras outdoor in use on the deck and on the ground. I own these exact cameras so I know when it is being watched and recorded. VRBO has a strict policy requiring such use to stated in the description of the listing. This is not stated on the listing as required. I would not have rented this property had this been stated. Its very creepy to have the owners watching and recording your every move while trying to enjoy the deck outdoors. Don't walk outside in your underwear as it might end up on the internet somewhere. It makes me wonder what else could be hiding in the house. Overall the house was good, the A/C was great as it was near 100 during our stay. The TV service is free streaming which is junk, but not like we went there to watch TV. Good property but not as described.

A dream getaway in the Driftless!!
We had a wonderful time staying here. It was cozy, clean, welcoming and very well-appointed. Our family loved using it as a home base as we explored the countryside, but also just loved staying in and playing games and soaking in the beauty of the natural surroundings. Mary, Kenzie and Taylor were so helpful and made our stay one of the best trips we've had. Thanks so much!!

Warm and welcoming
This house was so incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment we got there. We loved the small personal touches - chocolate, wine and a hand written welcome note. We have stayed a numerous places before and I don’t recall ever having that before. The house is beautifully decorated and just felt like home. Highly recommend it if you are looking for some peace and quiet.
