A beautiful historic property in the heart of Vipiteno. The young ladies at the front desk were very accommodating in offering to park our car in a distant SA lot when the on-site parking wasn’t included in our type of reservation. We were able to walk right out the door and into the heart of the old town. The room was beautifully appointed with every amenity needed which helped to offset the lack of view. In the morning we were provided an excellent breakfast with a wide array of food options. We really enjoyed this stay!

This was my third time to this region. This property is well managed by professionals that know the hospitality business. On property you have fine dining, award winning wines and probably the best pizza you will ever eat. Id like to thank Thomas and Sofia for the warm welcome and professionalism. Id like to thank Sebastian, Hanna, Stephanie for their accommodating kindness and willingness to explain food and wine from the region. This property is a slam dunk. The people of Vipetino make this destination very special. I will definitely return.

Ein Hotel mit Geschichte, Herz und Zukunft Der Schwarze Adler in Sterzing hat uns nicht nur als Unterkunft begeistert – sondern vor allem durch die Idee dahinter. ✨ Als das traditionsreiche Haus 2009 schließen musste, schien ein Stück Stadtgeschichte verloren. Doch dann haben Bürger:innen, Unternehmer:innen und die Familie Mühlstieger selbst Verantwortung übernommen – und ein echtes Zukunftsprojekt geschaffen. Seit der Wiedereröffnung im November 2024 strahlt der Schwarze Adler in neuem Glanz. Mit Direktorin Sofia Pertoll und den Brüdern Stuefer im Italian Restaurant ist das Haus wieder ein lebendiger Treffpunkt für Gäste und Einheimische. Fazit: Ein wunderschönes Hotel – und ein mutiges Bürgerprojekt, das zeigt: Gemeinsam kann Großes entstehen!

Das Personal (auch im Restaurant) war sehr freundlich und das Hotel kann bedenkenlos weiterempfohlen werden, es war alles top!!! Lediglich die Terrasse vom Restaurant und Preis/Leistung vom Abendessen waren nicht ganz zufriedenstellend, dafür war das Frühstück sehr ausreichend und eine gute Auswahl, womit wir rundum zufrieden waren.

Bei der Ankunft wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass in der Stadt Laternenfest sei und wir deshalb ei n Upgrade auf ein ruhiges Zimmer bekämen. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, inkl. Küchenzeile, Esstisch und Sofaecke und alles in einem Topzustand. Einen Parkplatz hatten wir direkt hinterm Haus. Nach vorne heraus ist man sofort mitten in der Altdtadt. Leider konnten wir aus Zeitgründen den Wellnessbereich und den Fitnessraum nicht nutzen. Das Personal war super freundlich und erklärte uns auch die Geschichte des Hotels. Wir sind absolut begeistert und kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder.

schönes hotel in einem alten gebäude - total renoviert. öffentliche bereiche hübsch, unser zimmer war eher dunkel was weniger unserem geschmack entspricht … frühstück tiptop. lage ebenso, sei es für einen zwischenstopp (ab der autobahn) oder für einen spaziergang im städtchen. kommen gerne wieder.
