The Perfect Family Vacation
Debra's home is absolutely beautiful! We were so impressed, especially by the yard, which our dog and toddler had a blast running around (no small feat for a 15-year-old dog!) The house had everything we needed, including thoughtful touches like beach towels and hiking guides. Debra and her family were so kind and helpful, especially since it was our first time on the Vineyard. The house is close to great trails and some really beautiful beaches. Would highly recommend, and hope to return. Thanks again Debra!

Could be better.
Hot..,we were promised AC for window.
It didn’t get installed. The one she finally dropped off didn’t work.
Water was not portable. Never advised us prior.
No sheets or clean linens. Which we asked about.
The yard needs to be cleaned up. Junk in chicke ln coop, unusable dog pen and old rusty crap in playhouse. Also cinderblocks to block driveway turn around. Looks really junkie. The house is Ok…but without AC with 90 degree heat and humidity. It was hard to suffer through. Not a great stay for the money.

Great Launch Point for Up Island
This house is in an excellent location on Martha's Vineyard. The owner was personable and offered any assistance we needed. The house is more like a summer cabin, worn but functional. Everything was very clean. It was quiet and peaceful, we even had peacocks go through the yard at one point. Having the outdoor shower was helpful and the grill was great. The location is just great for hitting all the must sees up island and gives access to Lamberts Cove which is just beautiful.

perfect Location
We booked this house hoping to relive our times on the island from years ago. Historically we stayed with family, no longer an option. this house was clean, dry, and very convenient to our favorite places island wide. there is great access to the beaches and we were within a easy drive to all points Marthas Vineyard. The owner was close by but left us to ourselves. We had a six month old with us and he had a great time too. for us it was great to be out of the main stream traffic of the towns and the setting was beautiful too. It felt like home almost immediately we also felt very safe. If you would like to get away but have access to all the island has to offer this is a great choice. We hope this house is available when we book again.

Great stay
We had a great stay at Debra’s house. Location is great—10 minute drive to Lambert’s Cove beach, close to Alley’s, nice location just off Edgartown-West Tisbury road so it’s easy to get everywhere. Even better, the house is so close to Sepiessa Point reservation—fantastic trails for hiking, biking, dog walking, down to Tisbury Great Pond. We also enjoyed the trail to Sheep Cove.
The house is spacious and has all the basics you need. Beds were comfortable. We were there during some unusually hot weather so without AC it does get hot in the house towards the end of the day, but we slept fine with fans. (And we knew ahead of time there was no AC). The large yard was lovely and great for our dog. You feel secluded but also close to everything nearby. Debra is a great host and is available if you have questions or need something for the house, but she also respects your privacy. Great stay!

Great retreat in the woods
The house is great and in a convenient location to W. Tisbury town center and farmer's market, as well as Lambert's Cove Beach, one of the loveliest beaches on the Vineyard. Plenty of room for a family of 5 with 3 good sized bedrooms, lots of windows and fans. The queen bed in the downstairs bedroom is the only one we used and it was very comfortable. The property is substantially wooded so, even though Debra (property owner) is right next door (and very responsive to questions), there is a ton of privacy. We highly recommend this property and would stay again.

Peaceful and Accessible
We loved our stay here. Everything was picture perfect and secluded Yet only 20 minutes in any direction to each of the other towns. We especially loved the multiple hiking trails a very short walk up the road to farmland, woodland and wonderful coves!! The best of everything that MV has to offer. Host was flexible with one member arriving a little ahead of check in and graciously allowed them to relax in the yard!! Definitely will stay again.

Exceptionally restful and beautiful
If we could have stayed the summer we would have! We thoroughly enjoyed 5 wonderful nights to kick off the season. Even with rain there’s 100% relaxation at this beautiful house with a lovely yard. It abuts endless trails through meadows, woods and coves, equestrian training grounds and tiny hunting huts. We came carless which ended up fine as we biked and took the bus, though for first-timers on island you’ll likely want to drive around to get to stores, beaches etc.
House had almost everything we needed.
Debra is communicative and available for anything you need. Highly recommend and we’ll be back.

Quiet and Comfortable
We had a wonderful vacation on MV at this very clean, comfortable and beautifully situated house down a quiet lane in the woods. A couple of items were missing on our arrival (kettle and large frying pan) but Debra, who lives in the little cottage next door with her very cute dog, was right on hand to provide everything we needed. Lovely patio with superb gas grill. We bought fish from Larsen’s in Menemsha and grilled our dinner and sat out on the patio for morning tea too (I brought my own teapot as most American household don’t have one). Debra recommended going to Sepiessa nature reserve which was just pristinely beautiful and we saw many birds too. Even though West Tisbury is quiet you are still not too far from everything on MV (about 8 miles) You could bike everywhere if you are young and energetic but probably would need a car especially if you want to eat dinner out in Edgartown or Oak Bluffs. Nearest grocery store (which we didn’t discover until our last day!) is Cronigs about 4 miles away. Overall we loved our stay and would love to come back someday.

Wonderful September getaway
My husband and I along with our darling pups stayed at this lovely West Tisbury home. The house is very comfortable and you just feel so relaxed. The well-stocked kitchen, open floor plan and beautiful new windows on the first floor leading to the patio and spacious yard make the downstairs a great place to just hang out. The location can’t be beat— we rode our bicycles right out of the house on great rides almost every day. You are a close drive to any place you would want to go to on the island but far enough away from crowds if you are wanting some peace and quiet. Debra is a great hostess— ample details about the house are provided and she is quick to answer calls, texts or emails if you need anything or have questions. Highly recommended 🌞🌞🌞

House among the trees
Leaving the main road drive down a gravel road to an opening in the trees to a classic weathered gray house surrounded by a large lawn. Entry is through a modern kitchen and into a comfortable living room illuminated by large windows.
Fall asleep to the chirping of crickets and awaken to
birdsong in three comfortable bedrooms.
After beach parking and long lines the outdoor shower is welcoming.
Greet the dawn on the deck with a cup of tea or coffee and if one looks very carefully it may be possible to see a wandering wild turkey or deer through the trees.
Next time there may be two weeks of vacation.

Quiet MV vacation
Great yard, house was very cute and a lot of privacy. Disappointed there wasn't airconditioning even though the listing stated there was, but the homeowner made up for that with her availability and kindness.
