Do you expect to take a shower in your hotel room?

My room was one of the smallest I have ever stayed in. I could not have the suitcase outside of the closet if I wanted access to the bed. I realized upon arrival that The shower was broken and I requested it be fixed. When I came back that night, there was no indication anyone had looked at the shower but it was still broken and never got fixed. In the morning I went to the desk again at which point they told me the shower was working. I waited for more than 20 minutes so I could prove to the manager and the maintenance guy that the shower was broken. At this point it is time to check out and they offered me no discount for the broken shower. After arguing for another 15 minutes I was able to get about $10 off of my bill. One of the worst hotel stays I have ever had and I would recommend a youth hostel for better accommodations at a more fitting price.

Don't waste your time.

We travel all over the world and rarely have any complaints. This hotel is awful. Don't be deceived by it's photo-shopped images. The staff is rude and not helpful. The free-breakfast has only a handful of item. The elevator doesn't work properly. They offer a complimentary drinks, but if your coupon is damaged they refuse to serve you. The air conditioner does not work. They control the temperature so if you don't mind sweating at night in the summer time you'll be alright. Overall, it's horrible, especially if you are a foreigner.

Great location, modern hotel

Pro's- Great location. Close to many delicious restaurants and main parks. Short cab ride away from Valparaiso. Breakfast was very good! Staff was friendly and ordered cab for us promptly when needed. Cons- Small room, bed wasn't extremely large. Bathroom was beautiful but the shower was difficult to work and the construction of the shower left water outside. You can hear the elevator shaft going up and down. Luckily the air conditioner can override it. Our room was located next to the elevator.
