4BR Beachfront Panoramic Water Views near Cape May and Wildwood
THE AREA. This 4br 2 bath unit sits on the top floor of a triplex, suited for families and quiet and kind groups (there are two fully separate units on first floor). "The Villas" is a small residential Delaware Bay community, 15-20 minutes from Cape May and Wildwood beaches.
Although not usually used for swimming, the small bay beach in front of the house is wonderful for walking, fishing, and exploring. There are local places to eat, grab ice cream, rent bikes or paddle boards, etc. Or head into the beach towns of Cape May and Wildwood to swim with lifeguards and surf the real waves. 6 Cape May beach tags available for your use during the summer..
INSIDE. Inside, you can hang out and enjoy the view from two comfy sectionals, a dining table that seats 10, or the breakfast bar with four stools.
Big sliding glass doors, screens, and windows everywhere allow you to be “out in nature” even when you’re inside. At high tide, it looks like you’re on the bow of a ship! At low tide, you can walk out on the bay halfway to Delaware (ok not quite that far, but it’s wonderful to feel like you’re standing in the middle of the ocean). May and June bring thousands of horseshoe crabs to lay eggs on the shoreline right in front of the house.
The primary bedroom has a new king bed, 2 bedrooms have comfy/newer queen beds, and the fourth has a twin over full bunk. Every bedroom has a water view, but two are quite small, so please pack light! Bed linens and bath towels are included, but please BYO beach towels.
Two full baths: one is a tub/shower combo and the other is a glass surround shower. The kitchen and great room were fully renovated in 2021, and the entire unit was newly decorated then too.
Fast WiFi and Apple TV (no cable), with a bonus smaller tv in the bunkroom if you want to bring and plug in your gaming system.
OUTDOORS. Some beach toys, umbrellas, and many beach chairs are available for use. Outdoor hose/shower, two large picnic tables, comfy seating, lawn games, and large outdoor grill in yard are shared. LINENS: Bedding and bath towels are provided. This includes sheets, quilts/comforters, washcloths, and bath towels.
EV: A Universal Tesla charger is available to guests in any of the units. Seamlessly transitions between NACS and J1772 connectors, accommodating all major North American EVs including Tesla Vehicles. Integrated J1772 adapter to conveniently charge any electric vehicle. Since this charger is open to all, it will require coordination between guests when more than one EV user is staying on the property, but there is no extra usage charge.
STAY LENGTH: Summer bookings between mid-June and Labor Day are weekly Sat-Sat rentals unless there are last minute open dates.
PARTIES/EVENTS: We are unable to host parties or events, including bachelor/bachelorette weekends, senior weeks, etc.
ADDITIONAL UNIT ON PROPERTY: If available, there is an additional 1 bedroom apartment (with its own private bath, living room, kitchen and patio) downstairs- the patio sits right under the deck and also on the beach with similarly gorgeous water views. We offer a 10% discount to anyone also renting upstairs at the same time. Great set-up for extended family members to connect or see each other while still having privacy. You can click on my profile to see this listing.
STORMS: Please note that since the house is right on the water, storms can be impressively forceful! You may be asked to bring items indoors before severe storms, but we can usually get there to do it or help if needed. We do open the house year-round, but we don’t control the weather! So before booking, please consider how comfortable your group would be with front row seats if there is a storm while you are there. Unfortunately, we cannot refund for poor weather, but we can give you some great rainy day ideas. :)

A few old friends and I had a terrific visit in the top floor of this 3 unit property. Right on the ocean with fantastic views. The large, bright living room/kitchen area was perfect for hanging out and catching up. The 4 back bedrooms were comfortable. The kitchen is reasonably well stocked and has a nice stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, etc. Nearby restaurant options were ample. Check-in was a breeze and communication with the owner was prompt and easy.

Perfect spot for a long overdue family reunion. Spotless and well appointed for everything you’d need. Jen was so easy to work with and even let us check in early since we came into town a bit before. The views are spectacular and the distance to Cape May restaurants and attractions made it easily accessible. A beautiful quiet retreat that we will definitely look to rent again!

Fabulous mornings on the deck!
We had a great time! The place is big, clean and the views are fabulous! It is a quiet neighborhood and if you are not really into ocean swimming, you will have a great time sitting and watching the bay tides come in and go out, lots of birds and beautiful sunsets! It's a nice place to avoid the crowds, but you can get to Cape May beaches and shopping, the lighthouse, Plum Farm and good restaurants within 15 minutes.

Oasis at the bay!
Loved our stay! The location was perfect! The house was right on the bay. Normally I am not a fan of bays but you feel like you are staying on the ocean. Beautiful house! Hostess was very communicative! About 15 mins away from downtown Cape May. Would absolutely recommend and stay again!

Excellent!
This place is serene and relaxing. It is beautifully decorated in subtle beach blues and greys with a family-friendly layout. The four bedrooms with two modern full bathrooms are down one hallway and at the other end of the apartment is the large shared space with high-ceilings, modern kitchen, comfy furniture, and lots of windows. Sliding doors lead to the deck that overlooks the water. A relaxing place to enjoy morning coffee. The location was fabulous with everything 20 minutes or less. Cape May is lovely and we enjoyed the beach, took a relaxing afternoon ride on the Cape May-Lewes ferry, had fun on the Wildwood boardwalk with its amusement park and water rides, climbed the lighthouse, played mini golf and just relaxed in the beautiful, peaceful apartment. We agreed we would all be happy to return.

Beautiful Bay Views
We had a wonderful time staying at Jen’s place. The views are amazing! The property is as close to the beach as you can get, and has views (and windows) on three sides, so you almost feel like you’re outdoors even when you’re inside enjoying the air conditioning. With the windows and sliding doors open, the cross breeze is amazing! And the common room and kitchen area is so relaxing and great for family meals. We enjoyed strolling on the beach and observing the horseshoe crabs and birds, and hanging out on the upstairs deck. Low tide was around 3:30-6pm and got so low you couldn’t walk out probably 500 ft without getting your feet wet (I’m exaggerating, but not by much). The Cape May beaches are about 15-20 minutes away, but easy to get to and park. Jen was a great host and all in all, it was a great private getaway without having to interact with a lot of crowds during COVID.

Beautiful Views, Close to Cape May Attractions.
We spent a week at Jen's place in late June and it was truly a blast. The house has a recently renovated kitchen with brand new appliances and stocked with the essentials. The furniture is new and the decor is a pleasure with unique original artworks - makes one feel really home.
The balcony gives you a 270 degree breathtaking view of the bay and it is just marvelous to watch the tide expose the mudflats and then return. Sunsets are divine while sunrises have understated beauty, with flocks of gulls moving swiftly over the pink tidal flats.
There are many nature-wise important places that are really close to Jen's place:
1) Higbee Beach: a quiet beach which is great for birding as well as rock-hounding. Look for cape may diamonds there - basically clear quartz polished by the bay over eons.
2) Cape May State Park & Observatory - must visit for birders. Great boardwalk and a wonderful lighthouse to climb.
3) Cox Hall Creek WMA is just 2 miles away - a gem of a park to walk, it was once a golf course, now restored to its natural state.
4) Hereford Inlet Lighthouse - if you are headed to Wildwood beach, do not miss this unique lighthouse and its first class gardens.
5) Cape May Wildlife Refuge/2 Mile Beach - this is the only stretch of Atlantic beach in the area that is undeveloped in pristine state.
There are so many things to do in Cape May that week seems to be too short! Another fave activity was running in the Villas community - you can run along Delaware ave till it turns and be back for a easy 5K. 10K is also possible, if you venture further without going to the main road- just a great way to appreciate this quiet neighborhood.
