A quiet place

The staffs were friendly, good food. has a lift. but the location is good for people who wanted to go for hot spring bath. a quiet place with few shops and restaurants. No hot water has to shower in cold water. booked twin beds but given double bed.

Really made us feel at home!

An older hotel decorated in an eclectic style. Really comfortable. The owner is wonderful, as is all her staff. The food is fantastic! Great wifi, too!

I loved this place — Super quaint, nice restaurant, neat bar, ultra comfortable bed (best night of sleep in all of Portugal), spacious room, luxurious towels, friendly staff, awesome continental breakfast, hot shower with great water pressure. Why isn’t this place a 3-star? It’s outstanding!

Cute Bed 'n' Breakfast in a lovely small town

Stopped by this small Pros: - Service: they didn't have any 3 persons rooms available (what we booked), however they ended up giving us 2x separate rooms to make up for it! - Breakfast: Amazing!!! All you can eat - we loaded up on delicious food before our long journey. - Service: We couldn't find anywhere that sold ice bags, so the hotel gave us a bag of ice on the house!! They were lovely. - Parking: Free! - Free filtered water Cons: - The rooms were average; showers heads were not fixed and kept falling off the holders. - Air conditioning was a little musty / old, but did the trick for a hot night - Wifi didn't work from the rooms (you had to go to the lobby)

Wonderful treasured hotel

My husband and I traveled with a couple of friends and we stayed there overnight. It was a wonderful surprise to us. The owners were very friendly, Maria do Ceu and Jose, and she accommodated our vegan diet. She made a soup from scratch and told us about the region, which offers thermal pools. The hotel is more like a bed and breakfast. It has the feeling of a bed and breakfast, the hotel is housed in an old building with beautiful hardwood floors and antique furniture and decorations. When I return to Portugal I will stay there again!

Bovista

Var resa på väg neråt i Portugal. Och ville åka efter spanska gränsen. Fin liten ort även om gps levde sitt eget liv. Mycket trevligt att få ett glas portvin när man kommer och checkar in. Lite bristande på engelska men med gemensamma ansträngningar så löste det sig. Parkering precis utanför hotellet och hiss finns. Helt ok rum. Fick köra på full värme då det var kyligt ute.0 grader på natten. Liten bar men det mesta fanns. Vi provade lokal likör och det var helt ok. Till middag fanns en rätt. Friterad kalkon med ris pommes och grönsaker. Tog en flaska lokalt vin tilloc så blev det dessert och en Irish coffee till. Kostnaden blev 71euro för två. Var definitivt lågsäsong så man får vara glad att få i sig något. Finns restauranger runtom. Men vi var lite slitna. Finns fint poolområde men lite för kallt i december. Finns en by i närheten som ska vara byggd i grottor. Men vi lyckades inte hitta den. Funkar på resa och säkert bättre när det är varmare.

Estadia relaxante

A estadia correu muito bem. O acolhimento é excelente, as pessoas são muito prestáveis, atentas e simpáticas, é só perguntar e combinar a melhor forma. O hotel é antigo mas ainda confortável. O pequeno almoço é bom e fazem refeições variadas para almoço e jantar.
