The hotel was okay, but it needs a lot of updating. Most of the room furniture was old. You will need a car to venture out because the hotel is far from everything!

Weekend away

The hotel is situated in a lovely setting with direct access to the beach, you do need shoes on the beach and to go in the sea, it is quite steep as you enter the sea and not really child friendly, the grounds are well kept as is the large swimming pool there is a shallow part for children but is about 3 feet deep. The hotel is being upgraded the front foyer and bar area is nice, the breakfast was ok not the biggest choice of hot food but it was ok. The room we had was a junior sweet which was clean and a nice size small kitchen with fridge microwave hob adequate pans etc and a coffee maker small dining area, with a bedroom and a terrace, the tv was not equipped to change the language for original uk programs. loads of hot water and clean linen. What lets it down is that the hotel from outside looks dated and tired. The staff were good but not enough of them in the bar when it was busy. Didnt eat our evening meal there because it appeared to be a buffet style and we like to be served at the table. For anybody who can live with small issues such as a stoney beach, odd cracked tile and a bath which had been mended then this 3 star hotel is very good for the price. Walking down the garden between the many tennis courts and onto the beach you could be anywhere. To wake up and sit on the terrace looking at the sea it was wonderfull. There was a sign saying shop but was closed. There is a bus stop a short walk away up a slight hill which will take you into town

Dated decor

The hotel's decoration was very dated and disappointing, it is badly in need of an update! The hotel is also located a fair distance (around 3 miles) from the lovely town of Villajoyosa, so there is not much to do other than if you like tennis!

You get what you pay for

I would say that the Hotel Euro Tennis is acceptable value for money, ie: it's cheap and not a great experience. My room was clean ish but smelt bad, the bed was pretty hard, and decor was poor. The food was poor and limited. But...the people were friendly, helpful and polite, the air con in my room worked a treat and the beach was great. All in all, you get what you pay for...

Wouldn't recommend this hotel

Hotel was very dated and it was hard to communicate with staff. On more than one occasion there was a party going on at the the hotel which went onto 3am, it was impossible to sleep as noise travels there. Food was terrible and the restaurant was over priced, if you stay here I would recommend eating elsewhere for all meals. If you stay here you will need a car as there is nothing within walking distance.

Peaceful Relaxing Break

We really enjoyed our stay as it was very good weather and the hotel was very clean and tidy. The staff were first class and very helpful. No problems with sun loungers (padded cushions would be a good idea) The room we booked on line was a double with a sea view which we assumed had a balcony and it didn't have a balcony which was very disappointing, so we had to pay extra for a room upgrade to have our sea view & balcony. The hotel is a distance from Villajoysa, Le Calla and Benidorm and became very expensive with Taxi's- Benidorm 30 euro's! A tram service runs near by to Benidorm and finishes at 22:30. A fine tennis hotel with plenty of mature players in action.

We had only one night here (thank goodness). this hotel is in need of a complete referbishment. The breakfast (included) was the worst I have seen in over 30 years of travel. Do not stay here!

Eurotennis, it was an ACE.

I went to the Eurotennis Hotel to enjoy of a few relaxing days with my dogs and I got it. Customer services was flawless. The staff was very pleasant and they were always making sure we were well taken care of. The hotel, specially our room, was clean; and the surrounding areas were very well kept. Great landscaping.

Very clean quiet pleasant hotel on secluded pebble beach with good facilities, comfortable and made very welcome by reception staff who spoke excellent English Bit out of the way being 4 kilometres from centre and nearest bar and restaurant (very Spanish) one kilometre away.

overall good hotel

Stayed for 3 nights.The beach is rocky. All rooms are sea view with balcony which is a big plus. We selected half board and were satisfied, because it is a big thing to drive somewhere to eat. This hotel has 6 tennis courts and we used it every day .

Excellent value for money.

Very satisfied with this hotel. It is 3 star but feels like 4 star. Clean, spacious, close to the beach with excellent swimming pool providing sun beds and umbrellas. Fantastic breakfast with wide selection of breakfast dishes. We liked especially fresh fruit and white and brown bread. For the tennis lovers there are 16 courts where you can play tennis day and night. We also recommend hiring a car as the surroundings are worth exploring. The closest town is Villajojosa with it's charming old town and a beach promenade. Extremaly satisfied with our stay there.

My daughter and I had a lovely time at Eurotennis, total relaxation, exactly what was needed. Lovely surroundings and within easy taxi ride of the nearby picturesque coastal resort of Villajoyosa. We have booked to go back and look forward to our return.

Good for the price and nice location

Great location and fantastic view from the room/balcony. The hotel is old and we stayed in one of the not yet renovated rooms, which was fine for sleeping. Very friendly and smiling staff. Very few spoke english and we are not fluent in spanish, but they tried their best to help us. And as many of the guests are spanish there is nice local atmospfere. The hotel is very childfriendly and you are allowed to bring your dog as well. Nice small an undisturbed beach - though stony but with the possibility of laying on grass. Fine pool, but a bit small poolarea and unfortunately many guest have a bad habit of reservating the sunbeds for hours even when not using them. They could work on the details: we tried asking for an ekstra pillow and was told it wasnt possible because the cleaning staff had gone for the day. Tried asking a few times more and the request was writting down but nothing happend. They have a stated politic about caring for the water and environment, but the cleaning staff tales the towels anyway and every day. The buffet is fine but tend to be a bit boring if you are there for a long stay.

La junior suite es una estafa!

Nuestra estancia ha sido del 7 al 11 de agosto. A la llegada nos tuvieron desde las dos de la tarde hasta las tres y media esperando porque no encontraban dónde estaba mi reserva, pese a que les enseñé toda la documentación y el correo recibido en mi móvil. Durante esa hora y media pudimos comprobar como varios clientes se quejaban sobre las habitaciones que les habían dado. Un cliente llegó a su habitación y no tenía ni cama ni televisión. A otro cliente le alojaron en una habitación de inferior categoría porque la suya estaba ocupada. Y a otro cliente le devolvieron íntegro el dinero de la habitación pagada porque no se correspondía con la junior suite que le habían ofertado en el hotel, después de estar esperando a que la Directora del hotel apareciera tras dos horas de reloj.En cuanto a nuestro alojamiento, cogí una junior suite porque se supone que estaban reformadas, pues bien, tan solo están pintadas y con un cabecero nuevo y un cuadro. La cama de matrimonio es minúscula. Para colmo había una cocina que no ponía nada de ello en la reserva. El baño está sin reformar y tiene bañera. La cisterna no funcionaba bien y perdía agua.El agua del aire acondicionado la teníamos que cambiar nosotros. Por contra he de decir que el personal (la gran mayoría parecía estar en prácticas)estaba desbordado por lo que intentaban ayudar en lo que podían ante tal desastre organizativo. En fin, espero poder ayudar un poco. Saludos.
