Perfect getaway.

A wonderful stay at The Prime Energize. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, bed comfy and ideal for our stay. The spa area was lovely. The indoor pool was perfect for a rainy January day. The breakfast was top notch. Continental or cooked was available. Faultless.

Good view of sea if you get the room on fifth floor, good bed, spacious room, spacious balcony, very clean room and bathroom with all amenities. The only thing that put us off were the broken locks on bathroom doors. Imagine the hassle of staying the day/ night with two mischievous toddlers. The breakfast and half board buffet is just basic. Although, you get the option to purchase what is not on the buffet menu. We wish the indoor pool let in kids in the evening if the pool isin’t busy. And wish the buffet had kids food.

An affordable gem

Lovely and affordable stay. Perfect in November when the throngs of visitors have diminished. Bathroom was super clean, but there was a bit of mold in the shower.

Hotel is nice and modern. Jr. suite was large only issue was the shower has like a half door and water went all over the floor after every use. We possibly didn’t use it right but I think we did. Breakfast had variety and was delicious. We only ate lunch in the hotel once it was ok but kinda pricey tons of other restaurants close by and more affordable. It’s about a 5-7 minute walk to the beach and it’s very safe. We stayed 8 nights and had a great time. Lots of other towns close by to visit also.

Good but could be better.

Very nice hotel, clean , great location. The downside are the confusion at breakfast with the tweezers to use for taking items and not available jacuzzi because of covid when in the pool is ok.

The Prime Energize is my number one choice for Monte Gordo. No disrespect to the area, but this hotel is far superior to most of the other hotels in Monte Gordo. Very good restaurant and spa.

Every staff member was really friendly and always had a warm friendly smile from the cleaners in the morning to the restaurant and bar workers. Joao the restaurant manager could'nt do enough for us. We had an infant with us and he was soo helpful and kind to us, as were all the staff members. This made a big difference to our stay. The rooms were clean

The Prime Energize is a Primo Property

The Prime Energize is one of the best hotels in the whole of the Algarve. It is comfortable, stylish, priced well, and in a great location. Fuel is a very good restaurant for any meal; breakfast was especially good. For me, a good night's sleep is the most important aspect of my stay. My room was spacious, quiet and the mattress and linen were outstanding -- Portuguese cotton sheets no doubt.I have already booked my next stay. I'd also like to comment about Catarina at reception; she made me feel welcome and provided lots of good tips for my time in Monte Gordo -- a very unpretentious and attractive town.
