Wonderful holiday home

We did love everything about Casa Valeria. However it would have been nice to be told in the information pack that the bed sheets and towels are not changed mid stay.If we'd known this we would have brought washing powder it is the 1st self catering property that we have stayed in that didn't do this.

Lovely, well-kept apartment in a beautiful quiet seaside town

We would recommend the Casa Valeria to anyone interested in a quiet vacation in the Algarve. The place is clearly well-kept and clean, under the care of Senhora Maria, and the owners are prompt to reply with any concerns. The rooftop patio has a nice view of the area, and the house is well-equipped to cook, and there were some beach items (umbrella, chair, children’s toys) on the first floor. The place is also situated in a great location, Burgau has a nice beach with few tourists, surrounded by many small restaurants (our favorite was “Love Burgau”). Short drive to Lagos, Sagres, and there is a nice hiking trail right beside the apartment that will take you to the neighbouring town of Luz in ~1.25 hrs.

Einfach toll!

Tolle Lage der Wohnung, netter kleiner Ort mit allem was man braucht, sehr gute Restaurants und Bars, relaxte Atmosphäre, sehr freundliche Vermieter. Für uns war es ein toller Urlaub, auch unsere Jungs im Teenager-Alter fanden es dort klasse, auch ohne viel Drumherum. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Eine Woche Burgau im Casa Valeria

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche im Casa Valeria in Burgau. Der Blick aus dem Fenster aufs Meer ist traumhaft. Die Wohnung war super ausgestattet und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Der Kontakt zu Edith und Jens war sehr nett. Burgau ist ein kleiner charmanter Ort und wir würden wiederkommen.

Tolle Wohnung in perfekter Lage

Wir haben zwei wunderbare Wochen im Casa Valeria verbracht. Die Wohnung ist gut und vollständig ausgestattet und liegt perfekt im Ort. Es sind nur wenige Gehminuten bis zum Strand. Die Dachterrasse ist perfekt zum Frühstücken oder Abendessen mit einem herrlichen Blick auf das Meer. Burgau hat viel zu bieten: tolle Restaurants, kleine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und einen kleinen aber schönen Strand. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen…

Schöne Ferienwohnung nahe am Strand

Wir haben zwei wundervolle Wochen in der Casa Valeria verbracht. Das Haus liegt einer kleinen Strasse 100m vom Strand entfernt. Burgau ist ein kleines, typisches Dorf mit Mini Markt und einigen gemütlichen Restaurants mit sehr gutem Essen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Tolle Wohnung - auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt

Leider wurde ich während des Urlaubs krank und verbrachte entsprechend viel Zeit in der Wohnung. Die wunderschöne Aussicht, die guten Betten und die Ausstattung der Küche habe ich umso mehr geschätzt 😉 Die Wohnung war wunderbar.

Frühstück mit traumhafter Sicht auf Garten und Meer

Diese Ferienwohnung ist ein Wohlfühlort mit traumhafter Sicht auf das Meer. Sie liegt am alten Ortskerns. Der Ort Burgau konnte große Teile seines Ursprungs noch bewahren und bietet viele kleine gute Restaurants. Der Weg zum geschützten Sandstrand ist kurz und die Küste lädt ein zu herrlichen Wanderungen.

Perfekter individueller Algarve Urlaub

Die Unterkunft ist perfekt beschrieben, sauber, geräumig und Blick aufs Meer (obere Wohnung und Dachterrasse) Meeresrauschen bei Nacht, im Ort alles, was man benötigt und in wenigen Schritten am Strand. Auto liess sich auch immer in der Nähe parken. Wer fern von Hotels und lauten Touristädten Urlaub machen will , aber auch nicht ganz einsam sein will, ist in Burgau genau richtig. Alle Ausflugsziele sind von dort mit dem Auto klasse zu erreichen. Eine Unterkunft, die wir auf jeden Fall wieder buchen wollen:)

Ein wunderbarer Urlaub

Wir waren das erste mal an der Algarve. Die Casa Valeria war eine wunderschöne und authentisch Unterkunft. Die Realität hat die Bilder des Inserats noch übertroffen. Unschlagbar ist der Ausblick von der Dachterrasse und der Strand in unmittelbarer Nähe. An dieser Stelle noch einmal herzlichen Dank für die gute Kommunikation, Organisation und die vielen Empfehlungen im Voraus, sowie an Maria, die wir leider nicht persönlich kennengelernt haben.

wunderbarer Urlaub

Wir haben im Obergeschoss der geschmackvoll eingerichteten Casa Valeria zauberhafte zwei Wochen verbracht. Alle wichtigen Dinge sind fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbar - windgeschützter Strand, Lebensmittelladen, Restaurants und Bars mit Livemusik im quirligen Örtchen Burgau. Wünscht man mehr Wellen und Surfgelegenheit, sind die Strände an der Westseite Portugals in weniger als 1/2h mit dem Auto erreichbar, je nach Geschmack einsam oder mit allem, das heißt Klo, Restaurant, Surfschule, Surfboard- und Ausrüstungsverleih, Kiosk und Liegen-Verleih. Man informiere sich im Internet.... Das Appartment ist mit allem ausgestattet was man sich wünschen kann, zum Kochen und Wohnen. Durch die gegenüberliegenden Fenster kann man gut über Nacht lüften, es bleibt kühl, auch ohne Klimaanlage, die aber vorhanden ist. Die Dachterrasse läd zum Frühstücken und Abendessen mit Meerblick ein, auch lassen sich die Badesachen dort gut trocknen. Im Appartment ist aber auch genug Platz zum Essen und Zusammensitzen, ebenfalls mit Meerblick. Als I-tüpfelchen gibt es für Musiker ein Klavier, wir haben uns sehr darüber gefreut dass wir spielen durften. Viele Grüße an die freundliche Maria und eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung für die Unterkunft!

Traumhafter Aufenthalt in wunderschöner Umgebung

Für unseren ersten Aufenthalt in Portugal hatten wir uns bewusst dafür entschieden, kein Hotel sondern eine in einem Ort gelegene Ferienwohnung zu buchen. Unsere Erwartungen wurde nicht enttäuscht: Die Ferienwohnung ist wunderschön gelegen mit traumhaftem Meerblick, den man sowohl vom Wohnzimmerfenster als auch von der Dachterrasse aus schon beim Frühstück oder beim Ausklang des Tages genießen kann. Die Einrichtung ist hochfunktional, aber gleichzeitig sehr geschmackvoll und sauber. Auch dank der guten Betreuung der Wohnung durch Maria haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung mit ihrer Lage in Burgau ist ein optimaler Ausgangspunkt sowohl für gemütliche Tage am schönen Strand (5 Minuten Fußweg) als auch für ausgedehnte Ausflüge an der Algarve. Falls es mal einen Regentag geben sollte, ist die Wohnung auch groß genug, um den Regen dort auszusitzen. Die Betreuung durch die Vermieter war sehr gut, dank der guten Beschreibung und den netten E-Mails gab es auch keine offenen Fragen. Was uns gefehlt hat? Eigentlich nichts, lediglich ein Sofa wäre manchmal schön gewesen. Gelegentlich gab es Bau- und Gartenarbeiten am gegenüberliegenden Grundstück, für die aber natürlich kein Gastgeber etwas kann und die uns auch nicht groß gestört haben. Als Fazit bleibt festzuhalten: Eine absolut empfehlenswerte Unterkunft!
