Overall, the hotel is suffering from a considerable amount of deferred maintenance. Safe didn’t work; no toilet paper dispenser in bathroom; poorly functioning bathroom light; and antiquated door security. In addition, the electrical outlets were difficult to understand; no outlet near the hot water maker; and bugs in the bathroom. I stayed there only because I could not extend my booking at another hotel. Not recommended.

V Hotel is close to many tourist attractions. I love the Night Market which i go most of the nights. Across the Mekong River and its one of the most beautiful place around town.

My room didn’t have a window. That is my fault because I overlook when I booked but it doesn’t make sense to my that a room can’t have a window. The check in was terribly slow. The bathroom disgusting. The drain for the shower was so slow there was water all over the bathroom floor. The internet was so slow that you can’t even consider it. On top of all my room was always full of mosquitoes.

Good location but bad toilet

The reason that I chose this hotel because of they told, that room has a balcony. Yes, It has a very small balcony and it isn't the balcony as I excepted. It is too small to sit. The location great, I love it. There are many Indian restaurant here. The room was clean but the toilet was very bad. The toilet could not has soap and shampoo and a bin toilet doesn't have a plastic bag. The tiolet doesn't have a hose. They gave me only one towel and it looked old and got a black color.

The check in was quick but the staff was not nice. The towels were dirty and we needed to ask the staff to give us some new ones. The room had a tiny windows on top wich was nice because the description said no windows. The restroom of the room was bot to clean. I would not recommend it for more than 1 night

Nothing much to shout about except the location

Everything was okay. There's nothing much to shout about apart from the location of the hotel being just next to the night market and stalls. Some minors complaints would be: 1. water heater stopped working after about 10 minutes 2. breakfast was served late. It was suppose to start at 7am but the food was only fully prepared by 7.20am.

Not something I wish to repeat

The room was small but suitable for a single traveller. The bathroom was not clean and the shower leaked into the bedroom whenever it was used, BUT it did deliver hot water at a good pressure. I admit to being dismayed when I saw the bathroom. Cleanliness is really important - more so than fancy features, and this room did not deliver. The towelling was also old and grungy and made me think about how many people had used it before me, but the bedding was clean and the mattress ok. The complementary breakfast was dreadful. In a country that grows coffee being served Nescafé blend 43 is unacceptable. Same for tea. They grow amazing tea leaves - why Lipton? Not only that but the breakfast food was very average and of the two out of three mornings I attempted breakfast, one morning half the options were missing. Breakfast sets the key for my day, so I was extremely disappointed. I breakfasted at Common Grounds the last morning due to limited food being available, which was a lovely experience highlighting that it CAN be done. While I would prefer never to stay here again, the location is convenient, and the reception staff, while clearly inexperienced and unprofessional, were helpful. All up a mixed review. A little work is all it would take to greatly improve the experience. (By the way I travel in comparable developing nations and stay in similar price ranged hotels, so it's not that the lower cost can excuse the obvious faults.)
