This hotel is right down town. Quiet, but just across the river from the action in beautiful Vienna. We were very well cared for there.

Pros: Enjoyed the property and the surrounding area. The breakfast spread was excellent, with a great variety of options. Cons: Room design and decor could use improvement. The view was underwhelming. Walkability: The location is relatively convenient, though some other hotels are closer to key attractions and more centrally located.

Nice stay in Vienna

Location was pretty good - very close to RingStrasse - so it made getting around town very convenient. Rooms were quite small (especially with sleeper sofa pulled out for kids). Also the air conditioning didn't get quite as cold as we prefer so we were really hot in the room. Our room wasn't ready until 5 pm, which was especially disappointing given that we had taken a red eye and were waiting for a room since arriving 8:30 in the morning. Breakfast was fantastic and staff were great.

Picture is deceiving

The picture of hotel on Hotels.Com is deceiving, it looks that the property is 10 to 15 floors high, where as thats the adjoining building. Actual Novotel might be only 4-5 floors high. I feel cheated when i saw the hotel
