Hotel was fine. I accidentally left a shirt on the hangar at the property but called them the same day, as well as came back to their front desk the next day and the following day. They claimed they never found it. The cleaning staff must have just thrown it out. Not very professional.

Perfect location for base camp style travel

Minimal furnished rooms with all the necessary amenities. Right next to Wien Hbf (Vienna central station). We Used this hotel as base camp to travel towns nearby and to explore Vienna old town.

It was close to the central main train station. So convenient to get a train to the airport, close by cities and towns. As well, the subway and tram lines were close by to get to the city centre. Room was big, comfortable. Wish there was a mini fridge or safe.

The hotel is very close to the train station which is useful. However, there are very few restaurants nearby which is surprising as there are so many hotels and office blocks in the area. If you want to walk into the city centre, it is a about a 30-40 minute walk. You can get public transport though. The breakfast is very good and good value for money.

We had a great stay at Ibis Wien Hauptbahnhof. The hotel is modern, clean, and efficiently run—everything you’d expect from the Ibis brand and more. Our room was bright, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a great bed that made for a restful night after exploring the city. The location is excellent—right next to the main train station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around Vienna or catching early trains. Despite being in such a central spot, the hotel was quiet and peaceful inside. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made the check-in process smooth and easy. We really appreciated their warm hospitality and the reliable service throughout our stay. Overall, Ibis Wien Hauptbahnhof is a solid choice for comfort, convenience, and value. We’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Vienna!
