Overall positive stay. Room was nice and spacious and clean, good location right beside metro or walkable to inner city. My only issue was the room temperature, I was freezing and uncomfortable the whole time, even in sweatpants and two sweaters. There was no ability to change the room temperature. I voiced this to staff the first day and was given a small space heater. I appreciate the effort but this did not solve the problem as I can’t carry the space heater around the whole room all evening. I felt the heating on the baseboard heaters turn on the morning I checked out…would have been useful earlier. You shouldn’t be uncomfortable the entire time you’re in a hotel room you’ve paid good money for. I would highly recommend the hotel if it weren’t for this issue.

I paid for 2X double rooms, yet my daughter's room was considerably smaller than my own and was 4 floors away. Requested queen beds in both tooms, did not get them. Both rooms were twin, not double. Very disappointed. Amenities fine. Very poor breakfast. Full of sweet food (I am diabetic). No variety, scrambled eggs empty on at least 2 mornings and not filled while I was there. Only 1 coffee machine. No toast. Poor for vegetarians (which my company are). Ended up eating cheese roll every morning. Staff at breakfast not friendly. Other staff were.

I had a great stay at this boutique hotel. The property is clean and well-maintained, with elegant and tasteful furniture. While it’s not located right in the middle of the city center, it’s still conveniently close, just a short walk or ride away, The staff were helpful. Overall, a comfortable and stylish stay with excellent service. Highly recommended for those who prefer a slightly quieter but still central location.

Comfortable beds, nice breakfast although some mornings choices were a little limited. Convenient walk to the centre and directions on the website form the airport to the hotel are very good and the metro station is only a short distance away.

Had three nights here. Everything you need in bedroom & hotel. Could do with a bit of updating but nothing major. Good location. Right by underground. Nice area when you explore around it. 15/20mins walk to Stephensplatz. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment.

Asthma Attack in a “4-Star” Thrift Store

I booked this hotel based on its claim to be a four-star property, with air conditioning, hardwood floors, and a clean, comfortable stay. What I got was the opposite. The room was much smaller than advertised, with no working A/C ("off until summer") and a sealed window—no airflow. As someone with asthma, I couldn’t breathe. The room was dusty, stale, and full of old, fabric-heavy furniture that hadn’t been deep cleaned in years. I spent the night walking outside because I physically couldn’t stay in the room. Staff acted bothered when I asked for a sheet. The next day, they moved me to a cleaner room, but it still smelled like thrift store air and off-gassing drapes. When I asked for a refund for the remaining nights, they refused. This hotel is part of a larger chain, and their refusal to refund even one night shows a complete lack of care. This is not a four-star hotel—it’s a dusty two-star coasting on outdated “charm” and misleading listings.
