We booked the middle choice on Expedia and got downgraded to the basement. Staff never checked in with us to see how our stay was. The room had cobwebs and bugs. The walls are thin so you can hear all of the neighboring noises and you hear ever time the toilet flushes via the pipes in the rooms above us. House keeping did make the bed everyday though. Don't have a whole lot to praise the hotel for unfortunately. We had to shift our way through conference goers in the hallway from our elevator (not even the main elevator) at the back of the hotel.

Great hotel, superb location

A lovely hotel in a superb location. A tram stop is right across the street, and the Rathaus square (and Christmas market, Vienna's largest) is an easy walk. Staff were very nice, and the breakfast buffet is sumptuous. We loved Eiles, the coffee bar/restaurant just half a block away.

Just bang average overall and overpriced. Staff are not very helpful upon check in (provided no overview of property, handed key card without room number). Whole vibe feels more like a hostel than hotel which is a shame given the price point. You only get your room cleaned every two nights so if you stay for two nights your room never gets freshened. Spend the $50/night to go somewhere else cause this place ain’t worth it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Flemings Selection Hotel in Vienna, and I can honestly say it was a great experience. The rooms were immaculate—spotlessly clean, spacious, and well-maintained. It was clear that attention to cleanliness was a top priority, as everything from the furnishings to the bathroom was in good condition. Another highlight of my stay was the location. The hotel is perfectly situated within walking distance of Vienna's main attractions, including the stunning St. Stephen's Cathedral and the Kunsthistorisches Museum. Being able to explore the city on foot made my trip even more convenient and enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend Flemings Selection Hotel Vienna to anyone visiting the city. Whether you're here for business or leisure, the combination of great service, comfortable rooms, and an unbeatable location makes it an excellent choice. I’ll definitely be returning the next time I’m in Vienna!

Excellent place to stay

Location was perfect. 20 minutes walk to reach most of the old town areas, parks and restaurants. Rooms are so spacious, although I didn’t like the bathrooms being open area with the room.m, with only a curtain separating them. I also hoped that there was a Concierge desk to help us. Otherwise all front desk staff were very helpful. The only thing that I didn’t like the Taxi arranged to take us to the Airport charged us €10 more than what we told by the hotel employee.
