Ive gotten a room here returning from hiking trips north of Victorville a few times. For the price and location, it is a great place to stop for a night and close to any service you may need. Clean rooms, some in better conditions than others. Basic amenities, friendly staff. Breakfast is minimal but appreciated, all the regular foods you would expect- free coffee (all day) machine in lobby, fruit juice, pastries, instant oatmeal, bananas/apples, and pancake maker. Even though its right next to the freeway, its off of a side road from a main street so feels kinda off the path a little. Im sure there occassional riffraff that comes through that area but it always felt safe and kinda enclosed. Noticed big trucks often park off to the side of street beside the hotel for the night.

The room is totally acceptable for a cheap motel. The location is right off the interstate and super loud; I slept poorly. Spend an extra $20 for a hotel with interior room if you value a good nights sleep.
